백워드 설계 모형을 적용한 중학교 기술․가정과 교육과정 ‘기술의 이용과 표준’ 단원 구성안

국문 초록

이 연구는 중학교 기술․가정 교육과정 중에서 표준교육의 성취 기준과 내용을 중심으로 분석하여 ‘기술 이용과 표준’ 단원을 백워드 모형을 적용하여 구성하고 표준 교육 단원 설계에 주는 시사점을 찾는데 있다. 연구자는 백워드 설계 모형의 3단계, 즉 바라는 결과 확인하기, 수용 가능한 증거 결정하기, 학습 경험 계획하기 절차에 따라 기술의 이용과 표준 단원을 설계하였다. 이 연구에서는 설계 모형의 첫 번째 단계인 ‘바라는 결과 확인하기’에서 본질적 질문을 설정하고 이 질문을 구조화하였다. 이 설계 모형이 단원 설계에 주는 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 백워드 설계 모형은 체계적인 수업 설계를 원하는 기술 교사에게 효과적으로 단원을 설계할 수 있는 템플릿을 제공한다. 둘째, 백워드 설계 모형은 기술적 문제해결 활동에 대한 정당성을 부여한다. 셋째, 백워드 설계 모형은 직전교사와 현직교사 연수 프로그램 개선에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 넷째, 백워드 설계 모형은 교수 학습 및 평가 개선에 도움을 줄 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the achievement standards and content of standard education in middle school technology and home economics curriculum, and to apply the backward model to ‘unit of technology use and standard’ and to find implications for the design of standard education unit. The researchers designed the use of the technology and the standard unit according to the three steps of the backward design model: confirming the desired result, determining the acceptable evidence, and planning the learning experience. In this study, we set up the essential questions and structured the questions in the first step of the design model, ‘Identifying the desired results’. The implications of this design model for unit design are as follows. First, the backward design model provides a template that can effectively design a unit for technical teachers who want systematic instructional design. Second, the backward design model provides justification for technological problem solving activities. Third, the backward design model can help improve the previous teacher and in service teacher training program. Fourth, the backward design model can help improve teaching and learning.
