아동의 실개천 놀이체험에 대한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 아동들의 실개천에서 놀이체험을 통하여 경험하는 놀이 의미를 심층적으로 알아 가는데 있다. 연구방법으로는 Max Van Manen의 현상학적 연구 분석을 적용하여 아동들의 생활세계를 4개의 실존체로 분류하였다. 첫 번째, 실개천에서의 놀이체험 신체성은, 오감으로 만나는 새로운 세계로의 체험, 두 번째, 실개천에서의 놀이체험의 시간성은, 생물들의 신비로움에 몰입되어 시간의 흐름을 모름, 세 번째, 실개천에서의 놀이체험의 관계성은, 아동-아동 간에는 자연물을 형상화한 놀이 감으로 게임을 재현하는 관계, 아동-성인·노인 간에는 옛이야기를 전해 듣는 재미에 빠져드는 체험, 실개천에서의 놀이체험의 공간성은, 기후의 변화로 실개천 놀이터의 의미를 달리하는 공간으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 실개천을 보호하고 복원하여 교육현장으로 제공하는 성인, 노인, 부모, 또한 교육프로그램을 연구하는 연구자와, 교사들에게 아동들의 실개천에서의 놀이체험을 통하여, 자연이 주는 새로운 교육체험에 대한 의식의 전환과 반성적 성찰의 기회를 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate in depth the meaning of play as experience by examining children’s experience of playing in a small stream. Using Max Van Manen s phenomenological analysis, as a research method, children’s experiences were classified into four fundamental existentialism. First, children’s corporeal play experience in a small stream was viewed as experiences of meeting a new world with the five senses. Second, the temporal play experience in a small stream was regarded as being immersed in the wonders of nature so that children were lost track of the time. Third, the relationship of play experience in a small stream was counted as an experience of playing a game with natural objects resembling stones among children, and an experience of getting to know the old stories between children and adults, Lastly, the spatiality of play experience in small stream was appeared as an experience of thinking about the new meaning of the environment because the place where children were playing was broken out due to drought. Analyzing the children s play experience in a small stream, the results of this study provide opportunities to reflect and change one’s view on new educational experiences in nature especially for people who protect and restore the stream in order to provide it as for an educational space and those who study about educational programs.
