사회복지사의 실천관계경험에 대한 탐색적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 사회복지실천이 지역사회중심으로 확장되고 있는 현시점에서, 현장의 사회복지사들이 클라이언트와 실천관계를 형성하고 유지하는 과정에서 어떤 경험을 하고 있는지 이해하고자 한 연구이다. 이를 위해 사회복지사들의 실천관계 경험에 대한 심층적인 경험을 파악하고 이를 잘 드러낼 수 있는 질적연구방법을 통해 수해오디었다. 자료수집은 심층면접으로 이루어졌고, 이를 주제분석방법으로 분석하였다. 연구참여자는 서울ㆍ경기지역의 종합사회복지관 사회복지사 5명, 정신재활시설의 정신건강사회복지사 2명으로 총 7명이었다. 사회복지사로서 실천관계경험은 실천관계를 맺고 유지하기의 어려움, 실천관계를 맺고 유지를 위한 노력, 실천관계의 어려움 해결 노력, 실천관계를 통한 변화, 실천관계가 이루어지는 현장의 현실 범주로 분석되었고, 각 범주의 주제는 전문적 역량 부족의 확인, ct가 있는 삶의 장소로 다가감, 실천이론을 적용 실천함, 기관의 지원과 개인의 노력, 실천에 자신감을 얻어 사회복지전문가로 한 걸음 나아감, 맞춤하지 않는 교육-실천현장-업무환경 이었다. 연구결과를 통해 실천관계는 사회복지사로서의 전문성 인식과 발달의 중요한 기반이며, 사회복지실천관련 교과목에서 관계론 의 보완 및 부교재개발의 필요성, 사회복지현장실습의 중요성, 지역사회중심 사회복지실천이론의 보완 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Today, social work practice is expanding around the local community. Within this context, this study explores what field social workers experience when they form and maintain a working relationship(WR) with their clients. The study was carried out using a qualitative research method in order to understand the experiences of social workers in depth. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, which was then analyzed using contents analysis. Research participants comprised of five community welfare center social workers and two mental health rehabilitation facility mental health social workers in the Seoul and Gyeonggi area. The study analyzed the WR experience of social workers by the following categories: difficulty in starting and maintaining the WR, effort to start and maintain the WR, effort to resolve the difficulties in the WR, change through the WR, and the reality of the place where the WR takes place. The subject of each category are as follows: identification of lack of professional capabilities, approaching the client in locations where he or she lives and works, applying the practice theory, institutional support and individual effort, going forward as a social worker professional based on confidence from practice, and mismatch among education, workplace, and work environment.
