시각장애성인의 자기자비, 공상의 자각, 탈중심화와 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계 연구

국문 초록

시각장애는 삶의 질을 결정짓는 심리적 안녕감 등에 영향을 줄 수 있다. 시각장애성인의 심리적 안녕감에 영향을 줄 수 있는 주요 요인들 즉 자기자비, 공상의 자각, 탈중심화의 영향 정도에 대한 연구는 보다 실질적인 서비스 제공에서 중요한 정보로 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 장애인 등록을 한 시각장애성인을 대상으로 하여 자기자비, 공상의 자각, 탈중심화 및 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계를 알아보는 데 목적을 두고 실시되었다. 본 연구 결과는 세 가지 측면에서 정리해 볼 수 있다. 첫째, 시각장애성인의 자기자비점수는 82.96, 공상의 자각 점수는 53.61, 탈중심화 점수는 36.71, 심리적 안녕감 점수는 116.85이었다. 둘째, 시각장애성인의 자기자비, 공상의 자각, 탈중심화와 심리적 안녕감 간에는 정적 상관이 있었다. 셋째, 회귀분석 결과에서는 공상의 자각은 시각장애성인의 심리적 안녕감에 영향을 주지 않았으나 탈중심화와 자기자비는 심리적 안녕감에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 시각장애성인들의 심리적 안녕감을 향상시키기 위해서는 탈중심화와 자기자비를 높이는 것이 필요하다는 결론을 내릴 수 있었다. 이 연구는 시각장애성인들의 심리적 안녕감에 영향을 줄 수 있는 변인들에 대한 기본 정보를 제공하였다는 데 의의를 둘 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate relationships among self-compassion, awareness of imaginations, decentering and psychological well-being of adults with visual impairments. The targets of this study were 240 adults with visual impairments at the vocational center or community in S city. For this purpose, the sample were asked to answer four questionnaires. Results of this study can be summarized as follows; First, the participants achieved 82.96 in self-compassion, 53.61 points in awareness of imaginations, 36.71 points in decentering and 116.85 points in psychological well-being. Second, there were positive relationships among self-compassion, awareness of imaginations, decentering and psychological well-being of adults with visual impairments. However, awareness of imaginations was not related to four self-compassion subareas. Finally, there were no significant effects of decentering and self-compassion on psychological well-being of adults with visual impairments. However, there was no significant effect of awareness of imaginations on psychological well-being. Therefore, in services of adults with visual impairments, maximum support must be provided to improve decentering and self-compassion. This study aimed at providing the basic information on the variables related to quality of life of adults with visual impairments.
