초등예비교사들의 교육실습 초인지 전문성에 대한 국제교육실습이 미치는 효과

국문 초록

이 연구는 국제교육실습이 초등 예비교사들에게 다문화적 경험과 문화탐방의 기회뿐만 아니라 교육실습 초인지 전문성에도 긍정적 영향을 미치는가를 검정해 보는 것이었다. 연구대상은 2학년 교대생 22명과 3학년 교대생 11명이었으며, 2017년 1월 14일부터 2월 19일까지 5주간 미국에서 교육실습을 하였다. 연구대상자들의 교육실습 초인지 전문성 변화를 분석하기 위하여 국제교육실습 전과 후에 ‘the Meta-Cognitive Professional Competence (MPCC: 김윤옥, 2017)’를 검사하였다. 그 결과로써 이 연구가 던진 네 가지 연구문제 모두에서 유의미한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 결론을 내리면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육실습 초인지 전문성은 국제교육실습을 통해서도 80%이상의 설명력을 보일 수 있다. 둘째, 교육실습 초인지 전문성은 국제교육실습을 통해서도 초인지 기술, 초인지 경험, 모니터링, 초인지 지식 등으로 분류될 수 있다. 셋째, 교육실습 초인지 전문성은 국제교육실습의 경험으로 높아질 수 있다. 넷째, 교육실습 초인지 전문성국제교육실습의 경험으로 교육실습 초인지 전문성의 모든 하위요인에서 긍정적인 영향을 불러일으킬 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study was to examine four research questions: First, how much could an international practicum raise the explanation dispersion on the Teaching Practicum Meta-Cognitive Professional Competence (thru the Meta-Cognitive Professional Competence Checklist: MPCC)? Second, how many subfactors could appear on the MPCC? Third, is there any difference on the subfactors of the MPCC after the international practicum? Finally, is there any difference on the MPCC between before and after the participants’ international practicum? The research participants included 22 sophomore and 11 junior students in the major of elementary education in South Korea. The MPCC were administered both before and after five week international practicum in the USA. The research results showed that the Teaching Practicum Meta-Cognitive Professional Competence (TPMPC) was increased in each aspects of the research questions after the five week international practicum. Based upon the research results, firstly the TPMPC could be expained 80% or more thru the MPCC after five week international practicum in the USA. Second, the TPMPC could be sorted into five subfactors on the MPCC. Third, the TPMPC could be significantly increased after five week international practicum in the USA. Finally, the TPMPC could be significantly increased on its subfactors of the MPCC after five week international practicum in the USA.
