영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study founding out the correlation between the activity of daily life and physical strength (muscle tone and equilibrium) of women elderly. Method： The subjects of the study were selected for 103 elderly who were 60 years old or older than that among the in facilities in B metroplitan city. The period of collecting data was from Dec. 1st to Dec. 30th 2009， for collecting data. Results: The women elderly activity of daily life was found to be lower. Also muscle tone and equilibrium were found to be lower. In addition, we could find that the better lower physical strength (muscle tone and equilibrium), the better lower activity of daily life they had. Conculsion: There needs to provide integrated nursing intervention for strengthening the muscular tone and equilibrium as well as enhancing the activity of daily life of women elderly in facilities.
