대학생 역량진단 도구의 성별과 학년에 따른 구인동등성 검증 및 잠재평균분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 C대학의 대학생 역량진단 도구가 성별과 학년에 상관없이 동일하게 적용될 수 있는지 여부를 검증하고, 잠재평균에서 차이를 보이는지를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구 목적을 확인하기 위해 C대학의 대학생 3,972명(남: 2,270명, 여: 1,657명/ 1학년: 721명, 2학년: 1,393명, 3학년: 1,237명, 4학년: 577명)을 대상으로 다집단 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 성별과 학년에 따른 차이를 알아보기 위해 잠재평균분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 형태 동등성, 측정 동등성, 절편 동등성 가정이 충족되어 C대학의 대학생 역량진단 도구는 성별과 학년에 따라 동일하게 사용될 수 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 잠재평균분석결과 글로벌 역량을 제외한 모든 역량에서 남학생이 여학생보다, 2∼4학년이 1학년보다 통계적으로 유의하게 더 높은 평균값을 보였다. 따라서 본 연구는 C대학의 대학생 역량진단 도구가 성별과 학년에 관계없이 공동으로 사용될 수 있음을 확인함으로써 단일 척도로의 개발이 정당함을 제공하는 기초를 제공한다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 시사점과 연구의 제한점, 후속 연구를 위한 제안점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the construct equivalence of the instrument for diagnosing the competency of university students and to compare latent means according to their gender and grades. In the pursuit of the purposes, multi-group confirmatory factor analysis is performed to test whether the instrument has configural, metric, and scalar invariance across gender and grades. Then we compared the sub-scale means of the instrument. The results of the construct equivalence tests provide an evidence that supports the configural, metric, and scalar invariance. According to latent mean analysis where female and 1st grade students are used as reference group, male and 2nd∼4th grade students show significantly higher latent mean values than female and 1st grade students except gloval competency. This study provides the basis for development to provide a single scale of the validity by confirming that the instrument may be used in common regardless of gender and grades. Based on these results, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
