국문 초록

본 연구는 부모-자녀관계 조화, 부모역할수행, 양육지식이 청소년기 자녀를 둔 부모의 양육효능감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 광주․전남지역에 거주하고 있는 청소년 자녀를 둔 어머니 총 256명을 대상으로 부모-자녀관계 조화, 부모역할수행, 양육지식, 양육효능감 척도를 활용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집한 자료는 상관분석과 중다회귀분석을 실시하여 검증하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모-자녀관계 조화 하위요인 중 조화행동, 조화정서, 조화신체가 양육효능감에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 부모역할수행 하위요인 중 훈육, 보호, 애정, 학업진로, 정서지도가 양육효능감에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 부모의 양육지식 중 자녀와의 갈등 원인을 알기 위한 대화 기술, 자녀의 학교생활 향상을 위해 필요한 지식, 부모 자신 스스로의 자아 탐색, 자녀가 가족들과 관계를 원만히 하는데 필요한 지식이 양육효능감에 영향을 미쳤다. 이 연구는 부모-자녀관계 조화, 부모역할 수행, 양육지식이 양육효능감에 미치는 영향을 구체적으로 살펴보았다는데 의의가 있다. 이 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과에 근거하여, 부모의 양육효능감 향상을 위한 부모상담 및 부모교육 프로그램 개발에 대한 시사점을 논하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, we explored how sub factors of parent-child relationships harmony, the performance of the role of parent, and parenting knowledge influence on the parenting efficacy with young children. The subject is a total of 256 mothers with children aged 11~19 living in Gwangju and Jeonnam provinces. The results of the study are as follows. First, the relationship between parent-child relationships and parenting efficacy shows that harmonic emotion, harmonic behavior, and harmonious body affect the parenting efficacy. Second, the relationship between the performance of the role of parent and the parenting efficacy shows that the performance of the role of the parent related to discipline, protection, emotional guidance, affection, and academic career would affect the parenting efficacy. Third, the relationship between parenting knowledge and parenting effectiveness shows that the communication skills to understand the causes of conflict with children, the knowledge needed to improve children s school life, their own self-discovery, and the knowledge that children need to make family relationship better affect the parenting efficacy. Theoretical implications of the results were discussed. In addition, practical implications for the development of intervention programs for parents were presented.
