군장병 대상 OBL 기반 박물관 교육프로그램 개발 및 적용* －자기표현과 소통역량을 중심으로－

국문 초록

본 연구는 박물관에서 군장병을 대상으로 OBL(Object Based Learning) 기반 교육프로그램을 개발․적용하고, 인성교육 가치덕목 중 자기표현과 소통역량의 변화를 확인한 연구이다. 우리나라의 많은 군장병은 군복무 중 심리적 스트레스와 갈등을 겪고 있으며 복무 부적응과 병영 사고가 일어나고 있다. 국방부는 이러한 상황을 해결하고자 군 구성원에 대한 인성교육과 문화예술교육을 추진하였다. 박물관은 대표적인 비형식적 교육 기관으로서 통제가 적고 자유로운 분위기 속에서 스스로 학습할 수 있으며, 전시물을 매개로 하여 학습자의 생각을 자유롭게 표현하고 타 학습자 및 전시물과 소통할 수 있는 환경을 가지고 있다. 전국의 국립박물관에서도 군장병 대상 교육이 진행되고 있으나 군장병의 특수성과 요구를 반영하지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 군장병이 자유로운 환경에서 스스로 학습하고, 자신을 표현하며 타인과 소통할 수 있는 역량을 키워 군 복무 적응에 도움을 줄 수 있는 박물관 교육프로그램을 개발하여 적용한 후, SPSS 18.0을 통하여 설문지 결과를 도출하고 성찰일지, 인터뷰 자료를 취합하여 교육 효과를 분석하였다.

영문 초록

This is a study to develop and apply museum education programs based on OBL and to identify changes in self-expression and communicative competence among the virtues of education. Huge number of soldiers are stressed and suffered from the lack of the communication in the army caused by interpersonal problems. This issue both makes and increases sudden accidents in the army. To solve this situation, the Ministry of National Defense conducted character education and culture and art education for soldiers. The museum is an informal education institution, which is less regulated and has flexible space for any visitors that can do self learning and freely express one s thoughts with museum objects, and have an opportunity to interact with other learners and objects. The national museum is also providing education for soldiers, but it does not reflect the uniqueness of soldiers. The researcher wanted to make sure whether character education in museum can help in the process of self-development and in the process of enhancing communicative competences regrading virtues and values important for members of Korean army. So tested on several education classes for soldiers. The analysis of the results of the questionnaires by SPSS 18.0, as well as interview data from the personnel involved in the learning process supported the research.
