환자중심의 여가활동이 알코올의존 환자의 우울감에 미치는 영향 : 사례연구

국문 초록

목적 : 환자중심의 여가활동 프로그램이 입원한 알코올 의존 환자의 우울감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 단일사례연구로 알코올 의존 진단을 받은 61세 남성을 대상으로 하였다. 4주간 주 2∼3회, 총 10회기 각 60분간 환자중심 여가 프로그램을 진행하였다. 중재 효과 측정도구로는 Beck 우울증 척도(BDI), 자기보고식 알콜리즘 선별검사(SAAST)을 사용하였다. 결과 : Beck 우울증 척도에서는 중재 전 14점에서 중재 후 4점인 우울하지 않은 상태로 우울감이 개선된 것으로 나타났다. 자기보고식 알콜리즘 선별검사에서는 중재 전 17점에서 중재 후 12점으로 음주 문제 성향이 감소되었다. 결론 : 알코올 의존 환자의 치료를 위한 환자중심의 여가활동 프로그램은 대상자의 우울감을 감소시키고 작업수행 만족도를 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 알코올 의존 환자들의 기호와 흥미에 기초한 여가활동 프로그램이 적용될 수 있도록 다양한 연구들이 시도되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objective : This study is to investigate the impact of Client-centered leisure activity program that affects depression of hospitalized patients with alcohol dependence. Methods : This study is a case study on participant of a 61-year-old man diagnosed with alcohol dependence. The intervention was provided two or three times a week for four weeks a total of 10 sessions. For intervention effect measurement tools, Beck Depression Inventory(BDI), Self-administered Alcoholism Screening Test(SAAST) were used. Result : In Beck Depression Inventory, before the interventions, participant’s result was 14 points which stands for mild depressive state. After the interventions, the result showed 4 points which signifies state of not depressed. In Self-administered Alcoholism Screening Test, participant’s propensity to drinking problem was reduced from 17 points to 12 points after the interventions. Conclusion : Applying a variety of Client-centered activity programs to the treatment of hospitalized patients with alcohol dependence showed positive effects on participant’s depression. Activity programs based on the interests and tastes of alcohol-dependent are expected to be applied by sustainable researches in various ways forward.
