음악교과의 국가수준 학업성취도 평가 방안

국문 초록

본 연구는 음악교과의 국가수준 학업성취도 평가의 구체적인 방안을 모색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해, 그동안 시행 해 온 국내․외 국가수준 학업성취도 평가의 내용과 방법을 문헌을 통해 고찰해 보았고, 우리나라 음악과 교육과정의 분석을 통해 평가를 위한 영역과 내용의 기초자료를 추출하였으며, 교육주체인 음악교사와 교수를 대상으로 국가수준 음악과 학업 성취도 평가에 대한 의견과 요구를 조사하였다. 이러한 문헌고찰과 요구조사를 토대로 음악교과의 국가수준 학업성취도 평 가에 대한 방안으로서, 평가 영역과 성취기준, 평가 방법, 평가 시기 및 횟수 등에 대한 구체적인 내용들을 제시하였다. 연구 결과로서, 음악교과의 국가수준 학업성취도 평가 방안은 ‘이해’, ‘연주’, ‘창작’, ‘감상’에 대한 세부 구성요소와 성취기준을 평가 영역과 내용으로 하며, 초등학교 6학년과 중학교 3학년 학생들을 대상으로 도시규모별, 지역별 등을 고려하여 유층표집하여 선정하고, 다른 교과의 학업성취도 평가와 함께 매년 실시하며, 이해와 감상영역은 국가주도의 실음 듣기평가에 의한 전국 동시 평가로, 연주 영역 및 창작 영역은 교사 주도에 의한 교사 평가 방법으로 실시하는 것이다.

영문 초록

National achievement test for music should be required to be implemented in order to analysis on problems and stabilization level of music curriculum. National achievement test for music makes us the understanding of achievement level of individual student for the knowledge of music in accordance with objectives and contents defined in music curriculum, and we can refer to the result as basis for improvement of the curriculum. The purpose of this study lies within pursuit of detailed plan for national achievement test for music with such necessity. To achieve the goal, first, We reviewed the contents of both domestic and foreign national achievement test for music subject. Second, We defined the areas and the basic data of contents based on the result of analysis of music curriculum. Lastly, We sought opinions and demands with respect to modification on current national achievement test for music through survey of music teachers and professors. Based on the result of literature review and survey of demands, We proposed detailed plan ranging over from evaluation areas: achievement standard, evaluation measure, evaluation period, and the number of performing test. As a result of this study, first, evaluation plan and achievement standard for national achievement test consist of detailed contents of four different evaluation areas such as ‘musical understanding,’ ‘performance,’ ‘making music,’ and ‘music appreciation.’ Second, subjects are chosen through stratified sampling method with aiming at 6th grade elementary school students and 3rd grade middle school students depending on scale of cities and regions they have residence in. Third, the test is performed every year in combination of other achievement level tests for other subjects. Lastly, two evaluation areas ‘musical understanding’ and ‘music appreciation’ are simultaneously evaluated as listening comprehension test at national level, and the other two areas ‘performance’ and ‘making music’ are evaluated on basis of teacher-directed assessment.
