초등교사의 국악 PCK 인식 및 형성 과정

국문 초록

본 연구는 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통하여 초등교사가 중요하게 인식하고 있는 국악 PCK 요소와 이것이 교사의 발달과 더불어 어떻게 형성되어 왔는지를 분석하였다. 교사들은 국악 실기 능력과 교육과정에 기반한 국악 교육 내용을 가장 중요한 구성 요소로 보고 있었다. 국악 PCK 형성은 입문 단계에 머무르는 교사가 많았으며, 국악 PCK가 확장된 교사는 자발적으로 수업에 관심을 갖고 활동한 교사였다. 연구 결과 국악 수업에의 자신감 저해 요인으로 분석된 국악 실기 능력에 대한 중요도 인식과 교사가 이해하기 어려운 내용으로 구성된 음악과 교육과정 국악 내용에 대한 재검토가 요구되었다. 또한 국악 수업에 영향을 주는 국악 PCK 구성 요소를 중심으로 국가 및 교육청 단위의 교원 양성 정책 변화가 요구된다.

영문 초록

This research aimed at analyzing the Korean Traditional Music PCK factors which elementary school teachers highly recognize through focus group interview and how this has been formed along with teacher’s development. Teachers considered Korean Traditional music education contents based on Korean Traditional music performance ability and curriculum as the most important composition. Lots of teachers stayed at the entry level in Korean Traditional music PCK formation, the teachers who extended Korean Traditional music PCK were those who participated in class spontaneously with interest. As the research result, reexamination was required in respect of importance recognition on Korean Traditional music performance ability, music and curriculum Korean Traditional music content which composed of the content which was difficult for the teachers to understand, which were analyzed as the hindrance causes of confidence in Korean Traditional music class. Also, it is required to change teacher training policy implemented in the nation and Education Office unit mainly with Korean Traditional music PCK constituents which influence Korean Traditional music.
