영문 초록

The prevalence and the ecological aspects of schizophrenia, manic-depressive illess, epilepsy and general paresis have been surveyed by the census visit method with the subject of 14,720 residence at Inn-Je Myun, Kang-Won Do, Korea, in July, 1974. The prevalence of schizophrenia, manic-depressive illness, epilepsy and general paresis is 0.13%, 0.007 0.14% and 0- 00%, respectively. In schizophrenics, male is majority with 70.59% and the divorced and the separated in both sexes are 21.05%. The migrants are 84 21% among schizophrenics and 68.42% of the patients are thought to be migrated after onset. In therapy, 71.43% of epileptics use anticonvulsants and 78.95% of schizophrenics have not been treated and even custodial cares have not been given.
