영문 초록

Since most of the musicm teachers just follow the traditional method, new methods and learning of music lesson have not been well developed. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to find whether new teaching techniques could induce the student`s interests and active participation in the music class. Four classes of the first glade were selected from a public girl`s middle school in Seoul. Two classes were designated the experimental soups and the other two classes were the control groups. Fourteen times of music lesson were conducted and each lesson had 45minutes. The experimental groups received the listening session by programming and the singing session by behavioral objectives. The control groups received the listening and singing session by the traditional method. The measurement used for both pre-and post-tests was the adaptation of Pogonowkis Music Class Attitude Index . The gain score was tested by the independent means t-test. Analysis of the data showed that the difference of the gain score between the experimental groups and the control groups was statistically significant at the .0l level(t=3.25). This finding indicates that the students in the experimental groups taught by behavioral objectives and programmed listening were more interested in and active in the music class than in the control groups.
