영문 초록

The author reviewed the literatures about etiological aspects of borderline personality disorder and especially reviewed the role of separation-individuation process in the borderline personality disorder in view of developmental theory. In order to understand and demonstrate etiologic aspects, two cases of borderline adolescent girls are presented and discussed in terms of prepuberty and precipitating stresses, characteristics in developmental history, characteristics of parents and family communication.
