세대 차이 인식조사를 기반으로 한 소방공무원 관리자 의사소통 능력 향상 교육 프로그램 개발

국문 초록

본 연구는 소방공무원의 세대 차이에 대한 인식조사를 바탕으로 관리직 소방공무원의 의사소통 능력 향상을 위한 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 평가하였다. 최종 프로그램은 의사소통 유형 탐색, 경청과 공감, 감정 반영, 세대 간 대화 기법, 상황별 대화 기술로 모듈화하였다. 회당 50 min의 프로그램을 구성하여 실험집단에만 8회 실시하였으며, 프로 그램 전과 후 실험집단과 통제집단의 의사소통 능력과 자기성찰 수준을 측정하였다. 연구결과, 실험집단의 의사소통 능력과 자기성찰 능력이 통제집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의는 세대 차이에 대한 인식조사 결과를 바탕으로 프로그램의 구성 요소를 도출하고, 조직 내 관리직 직원들을 프로그램에 참여시켜 세대별 관계 증진을 돕는 의사소통 능력 향상 프로그램을 개발하여 그 효과를 입증하였다는 점이다. 이를 통해 세대 간 차이 를 고려한 교육 프로그램이 소방 조직의 문화 발전 및 성과 향상에 기여할 수 있음을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study developed and evaluated an educational program tailored to improve the communication skills of fire officials in managerial roles, drawing from insights gathered through a survey on perception of generation gap among fire officials. The final program was modularized into communication-style exploration, listening and empathy, emotional reflection, intergenerational conversations, and contextual conversation techniques. A program consisting of eight 50 min sessions was conducted exclusively within the experimental group. The communication abilities and levels of self-reflection among both experimental and control groups were measured before and after the program. The study noted that communication and self-reflection abilities of the experimental group improved significantly compared to those of the control group. Notably, the program's components were derived from survey results on the perception of generational differences among fire officials. In addition, the study underscored the effectiveness of the program in improving communication abilities and fostering better generational relationships among managerial staff. This highlights the potential of educational programs that consider generational differences to contribute to the cultural development and performance improvement of fire service organizations.
