국문 초록

본 연구에서는 환율, 실질GDP, 유가, 금리가 인플레이션에 미치는 비대칭 효과를 비선형자기회귀모형(NARDL)을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 단기적인 NARDL 오차수정모형에서 환율변화율, 유가변화율, 금리 변화는 상승시와 하락시에 인플레이션에 대칭적으로 영향을 주었고, 실질GDP 성장률은 비대칭적이었다. 다만, 이자율은 상승시에 인플레이션에 영향을 미치지 못했다는 점에서 비대칭성분석에서의 한계를 보였다. 장기 공적분 방정식에서 환율, 실질 GDP, 유가, 이자율은 상승시와 하락시에 인플레이션에 비대칭적으로 영향을 주었다. 주요변수들의 비대칭성에 대한 승수효과에서도 장기적인 관계가 강하게 나타나면서 인플레이션에 대한 비대칭성이 두드러졌다. 따라서 인플레이션을 관리하고자 할 때 적절한 정책대안을 선정해야 하며, 동시에 장·단기적으로도 각기 다른 정책대안을 제시해야 한다.

영문 초록

This study is to analyze the asymmetric effects of exchange rate, real GDP, oil price, and interest rate on inflation using a nonlinear autoregressive model(NARDL). In the short-term NARDL error correction model, the exchange rate, oil price, and interest rate affected inflation symmetrically during rise and fall, and the real GDP growth rate was asymmetric. However, the asymmetry analysis showed limitations in that it did not have an effect on inflation when the interest rate rose. In the long-term cointegration equation, exchange rate, real GDP, oil price, and interest rate affected inflation asymmetrically during rises and falls. The long-term relationship was also strong in the multiplier effect on the asymmetry of macroeconomic variables, and the asymmetry regarding inflation was prominent. Therefore, when managing inflation, appropriate policy alternatives must be selected, and at the same time, various policy alternatives must be presented in the short and long term.
