경제교육프로그램이 중학생의 친사회적 행동과 진로의식 형성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구는 학교교육과정의 경제교육프로그램이 친사회적 행동과 진로의식 형성에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 C시에 소재한 중학교 학생 56명을 대상으로, 실험집단과 비교집단의 경제기본개념, 친사회적 행동, 진로의식 형성에대한 사전ㆍ사후검사 결과에 대하여 기술통계 분석과 일변량 공분산분석(ANCOVA) 및 다변량 공분산분석(MANCOVA)을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 중학생의 경제기본개념 습득, 친사회적 행동 향상, 진로의식 형성을 위한 중학생의 경제프로그램에 대한 만족도 평가와 중학생의 친사회적 행동과 진로의식 형성을 위한 경제교육프로그램은 중학생의 경제기본개념 향상, 친사회적 행동, 진로의식 형성에도 전체적으로 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 끝으로 이 연구는 C시에 소재한 중학교 1학년 학생만을 연구대상으로 하였기에, 모든 중학생에 대한 친사회적 행동과 진로의식 형성의 성과로 일반화하는 데는 한계가 있다. 따라서 중학교 교육과저에서 효과적인 경제수업 방안과중학생 수준에 적합한 경제교육프로그램의 개발 및 보급을 위한 후속 연구가 지속되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted on 56 middle school students located in C City to determine the impact of the economic education program in the school curriculum on cultivating pro-social behavior and forming career awareness. Descriptive statistical analysis, univariate analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), and multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) were conducted on the pre- and post-test results regarding behavior and career awareness formation, and the following results were obtained. The satisfaction evaluation of middle school students' economic programs for acquiring basic economic concepts, improving pro-social behavior, and forming career awareness was overall positive. The economic education program aimed at forming middle school students' pro-social behavior and career awareness had a positive impact on the formation of basic economic concepts, pro-social behavior, and career awareness. Lastly, since this study was conducted with a limited number of subjects, there are limitations in generalizing it, so follow-up research is needed to develop and disseminate economic education programs.
