국문 초록

본 연구는 의료기술의 발전, 국민 건강의 보호, 그리고 강력한 공중보건 체계 의 구축에 있어 중추적인 역할을 하는 의료기기 산업의 성장에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 전 세계적으로 뿐만 아니라 중국 내에서도 의료기기 산업은 지속적인 성 장세를 유지하고 있으며, 특히 시장에서의 상위 기업들이 점점 더 강력한 지배 력을 확보하는 경향을 보여주고 있다. 이 논문에서는 장쑤성과 광둥성의 의료 기기 산업을 대상으로, 이들 지역의 생산액, 규모, 상장 기업 수, 제품 등록 상 황 등을 비교 분석함으로써 산업의 집중도 및 혁신 능력을 평가하고자 한다. 중국의 ‘14차 5개년 계획’ 기간 동안 의료기기 산업 발전 추세를 바탕으로, 장 쑤성의 주요 의료기기 기업을 효과적으로 육성하기 위한 정부 차원의 전략적 접근을 제안한다. 본 연구는 장쑤성 내에서 의료기기 산업의 규모를 확장하고 현지 주요 기업을 육성하는 데 필요한 방안을 모색함으로써, 지역 내 주요 기 업의 성장을 촉진할 수 있는 가능성을 탐구한다.

영문 초록

This research delineates the expansion of the medical device sector, pivotal for the enhancement of medical technologies, the protection of public health, and the establishment of a robust public health infrastructure. The medical device industry, both globally and within China, has exhibited continual positive growth, underscored by the pronounced market dominance of leading firms, thereby highlighting a market trend where the strong become stronger. Focusing on the medical device industries within Jiangsu and Guangdong Provinces as case studies, this paper evaluates the industry’s development trends concerning agglomeration and innovation by comparing metrics such as output value, industry scale, the number of listed companies, and product registration status between the two regions. Concurrently, it identifies Jiangsu Province’s shortcomings in terms of industrial scaling and the nurturing of leading local enterprises. Anchored in the growth trajectory of China’s medical device industry during the “14th Five-Year Plan,” this study endeavors to explore and delineate strategies for fostering leading medical device enterprises in Jiangsu Province from a governmental macro perspective. It aims to offer strategic insights and recommendations to expedite the development of principal local enterprises within the province.
