국문 초록

목적: 본고의 목적은 메타버스 기반 한국문화 교육 시스템의 교육적 효과를 검증하고 다문화 커뮤니케이션 능력 향상을 위한 교육 방안을 제시하는 데에 있다. 방법: 중국 B대학에서 개발한 메타버스 기반 시스템 중 ‘부엌’을 예시로 다문화 커뮤니케이션 관점에서 교육 모델을 제시하였고, 이것을 한국어 초급 학습자 23명을 대상으로 적용해 봄으로써 VR ‘3I’ 특성과 기술 수용도 모형인 TAM의 8개 차원에서 Likert 척도로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 결과: SPSS로 실험 데이터를 분석한 결과 학생들은 이 시스템에 만족하였고 자신의 한국어 학습과 다문화 커뮤니케이션 능력을 제고하기에 유용할 것이라고 하였다. 또한 학생들이 체험하면서 발견한 문제점에 대해 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 결론: 메타버스 기반 한국문화 교육 시스템은 한국어 학습과 다문화 커뮤니케이션 능력을 향상시키는 데에 도움이 될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to verify the educational effectiveness of the Metaverse-based Korean cultural education system and to suggest educational measures to improve multicultural communication skills. Method: An educational model was presented from a multicultural communi- cation perspective using ‘Kitchen’ as an example among the metaverse-based systems developed by B University in China, and the VR ‘3I’ characteristics and technology acceptance model were developed by applying the system to 23 beginner Korean language learners. A survey was conducted using a Likert scale in eight dimensions of TAM. Results: As a result of analyzing the experimental data with SPSS, the students were satisfied with this system and said that it would be useful for learning Korean and improving their multicultural communication skills. In addition, improvement measures were presented for problems discovered by students during their experience. Conclusion: The Metaverse-based Korean cultural education system can be of great help in improving Korean language learning and multicultural communication skills.
