영문 초록

Because the old town in Seongnam City are very close to huge consumers market of Seoul metropolitan city and Gyeonggi-do, the traditional urban industries, such as textile and garment industry, food and beverages industry, were highly developed. Therefore, it is necessary to foster the knowledge based industry centering around IT, strengthen the network of industry·academics·research, and propel the linked development between manufacturing and service industry as a short-run industry development scheme. Meanwhile, it is required to build up the textile and garment industry innovation cluster and establish fashion design center and the related business incubator, and form the functional well-being food and beverages cluster as a long-run industry development scheme in the old town of Seongnam City.
