아버지의 음주 문제가 미성년 자녀에게 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구는 미성년 시절 알코올중독을 겪은 아버지와 함께 지내며 아버지가 회복해 가는 동안 경험한 일들과 그 과정에서 느낀 감정에 대해 자기 연구로 서술하였다. 알코올중독자의 자녀는 불안정한 부모와 환경으로 인해 고통, 좌절, 혼란, 자책, 우울 등의 감정을 겪으며 가장 편안해야 할 집에서 쉴 수 없고, 집에서의 일과 자신의 감정을 타인과 이야기하지 않음으로 대인관계에 어려움을 겪기도 한다. 이 연구의 목적은 알코올중독자인 아버지를 둔 자녀의 고통과 심리를 재현하고, 이를 바탕으로 알코올중독자뿐만 아니라 가족들, 특히 자녀들도 알코올중독자로 인한 큰 고통과 문제점을 지니고 있으며 이를 해결하기 위해 국가와 사회의 적극적인 개입이 필요하다는 것을 알리는 데 있다. 본 연구는 개인의 경험을 바탕으로 작성되었다는 것, 당시 작성된 자료가 아닌 추후 작성된 자기 회상자료를 이용한 것, 아버지의 알코올중독을 겪은 경험이라는 한계점이 있으나 본 연구는 지금까지 관심의 사각지대에 머물렀던 알코올중독자 자녀들의 고통을 이해하고 알릴 수 있는 밑거름이 될 것이며, 더불어 알코올중독자의 자녀들에게 필요한 교육과 복지 프로그램이 개발되는데 중요한 자료가 되기를 바란다.

영문 초록

This study described the experiences and feelings I experienced while my father recovered while living with an alcoholic father as a minor as a self-study. Alcoholics' children suffer from emotions such as pain, frustration, confusion, blame, and depression due to unstable parents and environment, and they cannot rest comfortably at home, and they have difficulty in interpersonal relationships due to their work at home and not talking about their feelings. The purpose of this study is to reproduce the pain and psychology of children with fathers who are alcoholics, and based on this, inform them that children of alcoholics also have great pain and problems caused by alcoholics, and that active intervention from the state and society is needed to solve them. Although this study has limitations in that it was written based on individual experiences, using self-recollective data written later rather than data written at the time, and experiencing father's alcoholism, this study will be the foundation for understanding and informing the pain of alcoholics' children who have remained in the blind spot of interest so far, and it is hoped that it will be an important data for the development of education and welfare programs necessary for the children of alcoholics.
