국문 초록

교류 분석과 인간중심 상담이론은 인간에 대한 긍정적인 인식에서 출발하고 있다. 점점 복잡해지는 사회 속에서 개인은 다른 사람들과 맺는 관계에서 어려움을 느끼고 있다. 이러한 문제의 해결 방안으로 제시되고 있는 방법이 상담이라는 측면에서 본다면 두 이론의 중요성을 느낄 수 있다5. 본 연구에서는 두 이론을 7가지 측면에서 비교하고자 하였다. 첫째 두 이론의 인간관은 낙관적이고 비결정론적인 인간관에 뿌리를 두고 있으며 인간의 가치와 존엄성을 인정한다는 측면에서 매우 유사한 점을 가지고 있다. 둘째, 두 이론의 상담 목표는 자신의 상태에서 벗어나는 것으로 하고 있으며 자신의 상태를 자각하는 것으로 삼고 있다. 셋째, 두 이론의 주요 개념은 자아와 성격을 분석하는 개념을 주요하게 사용하고 있다. 넷째, 두 이론의 상담기법은 허용적인 분위기를 제공하고, 지지해주며 문제를 구체화할 수 있는 명료화 기법을 사용하고 있다. 다섯째, 두 이론에서 상담자는 자신의 능력보다는 내담자로 하여금 능력을 발휘하고 문제를 발견하고 스스로 해결할 수 있도록 지원하는 역할을 수행하고 있다. 여섯째, 두 이론의 공헌도를 비교하면, 전문가만의 독점물이 되었던 상담을 모든 사람이 이해하고 활용할 수 있도록 하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 일곱 번째, 두 이론은 서로 반대되는 비판점을 받는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Exchange analysis and human-centered counseling theory start with a positive perception of humans. In an increasingly complex society, individuals are experiencing difficulties in their relationships with others. The importance of the two theories can be felt in terms of counseling as the method proposed as a solution to this problem. This study attempted to compare the two theories in seven aspects. First, the two theories’ view of humanity is rooted in an optimistic and non-deterministic view of humanity and has very similarities in terms of acknowledging human values and dignity. Second, the counseling goal of the two theories is to escape from one’s state and to be aware of one’s state. Third, the main concepts of the two theories mainly use concepts that analyze self and personality. Fourth, the counseling techniques of the two theories use a clarification technique that can provide an acceptable atmosphere, support it, and specify problems. Fifth, in both theories, counselors play a role in helping clients demonstrate their abilities, discover problems, and solve themselves rather than their own abilities. Sixth, when comparing the contribution of the two theories, it is meaningful in that it allows everyone to understand and utilize counseling, which has become a monopoly only for experts. Seventh, it was found that the two theories received opposite criticism points. This summary of Korean literature is prepared to include the general contents of the paper.
