국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 국제농업개발협력사업의 지속가능성을 증대시키는 요인 들을 설정하고 해당 요인들이 수혜자의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하여 향후 수혜자의 변화에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해 파악하고자 한다. 연구의 중요성: 본 연구는 사례대상 사업의 수혜자이면서 동시에 협동조합을 조직하여 활동하는 국제개발협력의 경험이 풍부한 우간다 농민들을 대상으로 어떠한 요인이 삶의 질에 긍정적인 영향을 주는지 분석하는 것에 의의가 있다. 우리나라의 오랜 협력국인 우간다는 농업이 개발협력 전략의 우선순위로써 직접적인 수혜자인 농민들의 삶의 질에 영향요인들을 파악하기 때문에 보편적 삶의 질 제고 측면에서 중요하다고 판단된다. 연구방법론: 선행연구를 바탕으로 사업 지속가능성 증대 요인 및 삶의 질 측정 지표를 선정 후 PLS-SEM 분석을 활용하여 어떠한 요인이 주관적 삶의 질에 유의미한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. PLS-SEM에 나온 수치를 바탕으로 IPMA 분석을 실시하여 중요도 및 성과를 분석하였다. 연구결과: PLS-SEM 분석결과 삶의 질에 유의한 영향을 주는 요인은 사회적 변화 및 심리적 변화로 나타났으며, 경제·인프라 구축은 경제, 사회적 변화에 서, 협력체계 구축이 경제, 사회, 심리적 변화에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. IPMA 결과에서는 심리적 변화, 사회적 변화, 협력체계 구축이 현상 유지가 되어야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 및 시사점: 가치사슬 혹은 농업부문 사업에서 자발적 참여를 기반으로 한 협력체계 구축은 경제적·사회적·심리적 변화 그리고 삶의 질 인식까지 영향을 미치므로 매우 중요하게 다루어져야 한다. 경제·인프라 구축은 결론적 으로 삶의 질 인식에 영향을 미치지 못하였지만 그럼에도 농업부문은 우간다의 경제성장을 견인할 수 있는 산업이므로 지속적인 관심이 필요하다. 실질적인 농업소득 증대를 위해 기업-협동조합의 안정적 연계, 또 이를 위한 대학과의 연계가 필요하다. 또한 기존과 같이 마을단위로 협동조합을 조직할 수도 있지 만 여건에 따라서는 시장환경 대응을 위해 품종별 작목반 조직으로 전문성을 배양하는 것도 바람직할 것으로 사료된다. 우간다의 열악한 유통환경을 감안하 였을 때 사료, 비료, 유통, 식품과 같은 농업전후방산업과 연계된 부문별 협동조 합을 조직하거나, 청년창업 육성 후 협력관계를 구축하는 것도 모색해볼 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study establishes factors that increase the sustainability of international agricultural development cooperation projects and analyzes the impact of those factors on the quality of life of beneficiaries to determine factors that have a significant impact on changes in beneficiaries in the future. Originality: This study aims to analyze what factors have a positive impact on the quality of life among Ugandan farmers who are beneficiaries of case projects. Methodology: Based on previous research, factors for increasing business sustainability and quality of life measurement indicators were selected, and then PLS-SEM analysis was used to analyze which factors had a significant impact on subjective quality of life. Result: The PLS-SEM analysis result, social changes and psychological changes were found to be factors that significantly affect quality of life. Construction of economic and infrastructure appeared to have a significant impact on economic and social changes, and construction of a cooperation system had a significant impact on economic, social and psychological changes. The IPMA results showed that psychological change, social change, and building a cooperative system should be maintained as the status quo. Conclusion and Implication: The establishment of a cooperative system based on voluntary participation in agricultural sector projects must be The establishment of a cooperative system based on voluntary participation in agricultural sector projects must be considered important as it affects economic, social, and psychological changes and even perceptions of QoL. Economic and infrastructure construction didn't have an impact on the perception of QoL, the agricultural sector can drive Uganda's economic growth and therefore requires continued attention. In order to increase agricultural income in business, linkages between companies, cooperatives, and also universities are necessary. In case of cooperatives, it can be organized by breeding respond to the market environment and enhance expertise. And could be linked to agricultural forward and backward industries by considered the poor distribution environment, and also support young startup and then have a cooperative relationships.
