영문 초록

Objectives: This study was conducted to produce basic data to increase the toothbrushing rate, which decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Using the recently announced 8th National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, factors related to toothbrushing were analyzed. Results: Significant differences were uncovered in relation to sociodemographic factors, health status, and oral health status. Conclusions: Therefore, it is necessary to implement an oral health promotion program considering related factors, to create an environment that fosters an increased rate of toothbrushing, and to implement dental health policies such as plaque control education insurance coverage.
