영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to find out the motivation of the youth who are learning Taekwondo and the effect of parents' expectations on career goals setting Method: The final analysis was made using simple wireless labeling method of 582 students of the elite demonstration group and general trainee group among middle and high school trainees who are training at the Taekwondo gym in Gyeonggi-do. The collected data were analyzed through an empirical method using the SPSS PC+ 20.0 statistics program. Results: First, the differences in training types according to demographic characteristics during training period, Significant differences. Second, the differences between demographic characteristics on parents' expectations, motivation for participation in training, and setting career goals were found to be significantly different from their parents' expectations. Third, correlations between variables such as parental expectations, motivation to participate in training, and setting career goals there was a statistically significant positive correlation. Fourth, the effect of parental expectations on motivation for participation in training and career goals was shown to have a significant effect on motivation for participation in training, but it was found that parents' expectations did not have a significant effect on career goals. Conclusion: As a result of this study, it is believed that if the expectations of parents of Taekwondo training teenagers are appropriate, they will be perceived positively and have a positive influence on training participation. Interdisciplinary Research Implications: This study is a study on sports education, and if interdisciplinary research linking aspects of psychology and sociology is conducted in the future, it can be expanded into applied research to solve more practical problems.
