고령인구를 고려한 폭염취약지 공간분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 대구광역시를 대상으로 고령인구를 고려한 폭염취약지를 도출하고 추후 어떠한 지역을 중심으로 관리가 필요한지 알아보고자 한다. 실증 분석을 위해 기본 변수와 기온 상승에 영향을 미치는 변수, 기온 하강에 영향을 미치는 변수를 선정했다. 기본 변수로 고령인구 밀도와 무더위 쉼터 밀도, 폭염누적일수를 분석했으며, 도시 열 쾌적성을 보다 더 세밀하게 평가하기 위해 기온 상승에 영향을 미치는 변수로 표고, 사면 방향, 토지이용현황을 분석하고 기온 하강에 영향을 미치는 변수로 하천과 생태자연도를 분석했다. 고령인구 밀도를 알아내기 위해 Arc GIS에서 Kernel Density를 사용했으며, 폭염누적일수를 내삽법(IDW)을 활용하여 분석했다. 이 외의 변수들도 각각 분석하여 최종 중첩 분석했다. 분석 결과, 대구광역시 중구를 둘러싼 대부분의 지역에서 폭염취약지가 나타났으며, 고령인구를 고려했을 때 달서구와 북구, 수성구 일대가 가장 취약한 지역으로 나타났다. 해당 지역을 중심으로 대비가 이루어져야 함을 알 수 있으며, 이는 향후 관련된 도시계획, 노인복지 분야 등의 의사결정에 활용할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to derive heat wave vulnerable areas in consideration of the elderly population in Daegu Metropolitan City and find out which areas need to be managed in the future. For empirical analysis, basic variables, temperature rise variables, and temperature drop variables were selected. The elderly population density, heat shelter density, and heat accumulation days were analyzed as basic variables, and the elevation, slope direction, and land use status were analyzed as temperature rise variables, and rivers and ecological naturalness were analyzed as temperature drop variables. Kernel Density was used in Arc GIS to find out the density of the elderly population, and the cumulative number of days of heat waves was analyzed using interpolation techniques (IDW). Other variables were also analyzed and finally overlapped. As a result of the analysis, most of the areas surrounding Jung-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City, were vulnerable to heat waves, and considering the elderly population, Dalseo-gu, Buk-gu, and Suseong-gu were the most vulnerable areas. It can be seen that preparations should be made around the area, which can be used for future decisions such as urban planning and welfare for the elderly.
