국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초기 성인기 집단을 중심으로 불안정 성인애착(애착불안, 애착회피)과 심리적 안녕감 사이의 관계에서 자기방어적 양가성과 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 초기 성인기에 속하는 20∼30대 230명의 자료를 수집하였으며, 구조방정식모형을 이용하여 분석하였고, 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 애착불안 차원, 애착회피 차원, 자기방어적 양가성, 사회적지지, 심리적 안녕감의 상관분석 결과, 모든 변인 간 유의미한 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 애착불안/회피 차원과 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 자기방어적 양가성의 매개효과는 모두 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 애착불안 차원과 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 사회적 지지는 부분매개하였고, 애착회피 차원과 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 사회적 지지는 완전매개하였다. 넷째, 애착불안/회피 차원과 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 자기방어적 양가성과 사회적 지지의 이중매개효과는 모두 유의하지 않았다. 끝으로 논의에 본 연구가 지니는 제한점과 시사점 및 제언을 포함하였다. 무엇보다 본 연구는 초기성인기 집단의 심리적 안녕감을 높이기 위해 사회적지지망 구축의 중요성을 확인하였다는데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of self-defensive ambivalence and social support in the relationship between insecure adult attachment(anxiety attachment, avoidance attachment) and psychological well-being, focusing on the early adulthood group. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze data from a survey administrated to 230 people in their 20s to 30s. The results of the study are as follows. First, the results demonstrated significant correlations among variables. Second, in the relationship between anxiety/avoidance attachment and psychological well-being, the mediating effect of self-defensive ambivalence was not significant. Third, social support partially mediated the relationship between the anxiety attachment dimension and psychological well-being, and social support completely mediated the relationship between the avoidance attachment dimension and psychological well-being. Fourth, in the relationship between anxiety/avoidance attachment and psychological well-being, the double mediating effect of self-defensive ambivalence and social support was not significant. Finally, the implications, limitations, and suggestions of this study were included in the discussion. Above all, the significance of this study is that it confirms the importance of building a social support network to increase the psychological well-being of the early adulthood group.
