그린스마트스쿨 실천 사례를 통한 융합교육의 의미 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 2020년부터 한국판 뉴딜 정책의 일환으로 추진되기 시작한 그린스마트스쿨 중 사용자 참여 설계 과정에서 나타나는 융합교육의 의미를 발견하고자 수행하였다. 이를 위해 그린스마트스쿨 혹은 학교공간혁신사업 경험이 있는 7인을 대상으로 면담을 실시하여 면담내용을 철학적 차원, 사회적 차원, 과정적 차원, 공간적 차원, 융합교육적 차원에서 분석 및 해석하였다. 연구 결과, 그린스마트스쿨이 융합교육의 의미를 내포하고 있으며, 사용자 참여 설계 과정에 주목할 필요가 있음을 확인했다. 향후 그린스마트스쿨 추진 시 사용자 참여 설계의 과정에서 융합교육의 의미가 드러내기 위한 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 그린스마트스쿨은 단순 시설개선 사업이 아니며, 핵심 요소를 통해 학교의 비전과 목적을 실현하는 사업임을 기억하여야 한다. 둘째, 사용자 참여 설계 과정이 요식 단계에 그치지 않도록 구성원들의 인식을 융합교육적 패러다임으로 전환시킬 수 있는 관련 교육과 연수를 진행하여야 한다. 셋째, 그린스마트스쿨 내 존재하는 난점을 사업 전체 폐기로 해결하기 보다 이를 보완하는 차원에서 정책을 추진하여야 한다. 넷째, 구성원들의 공동체 의식을 강화시키는 관련 교육과 연수, 소통을 위한 협의 과정을 의미 있게 추진하여야 한다.

영문 초록

This study was intended to discover the meaning of convergence education in the proceess of User Participation Design among the Green Smart School promoted by the Korean version of the New Deal policy from 2020. To this end, interviews were conducted with 7 people who had experience in Green Smart School or School Space Innovation Project. The interview contents were analyzed and interpreted at philosophical perspective, social perspective, process perspective, spatial perspective, and the perspective of convergence education. The results of this study suggest that Green Smart School imply the meaning of convergence education, and need to pay attention to the process of User Participation Design. When promoting Green Smart School in the future, measures to reveal the meaning of convergence education in User Participation Design process are as follows. First, it should be remembered that Green Smart School is not the simple facility improvement project, but the project that realizes the vision and purpose of the school through key elements. Second, related education and training are conduted to transform members’ perceptions into the convergence education paradigm. Third, policies should be promoted to compensate for the difficulties that exist in Green Smart School rather than solve them by discarding the entire project. Fourth, the concultation process for related education, training, and communication that strengthens members’ sense of community should be meaningfully promoted.
