국문 초록

본 연구는 강원대학교 에너지･인프라 융합학과에서 2021년 1학기 혁신교과로 개설된 ‘남북관계와 국제개발협력’ 강의사례를 사용자 경험(User Experience) 디자인 관점에서 분석하였다. 이 강의는 해당 주제를 인문사회 분야가 아닌 이공계 분야 전공 대학원생을 대상으로 진행했다는 점에서 일반적 상황과 비교할 때 매우 특이한 사례이다. 학기 종료 직후 참여 학생 모두가 저자로 참여한 단행본을 출판하는 등 흥미로운 성과를 이루었는데 해당 강의가 어떻게 설계되고 운영되었는지 사례연구를 통해 면밀히 고찰하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 이 강의는 러닝 퍼실리테이션(Learning Facilitation, 학습 촉진) 관점에서 중요시하는 개념들을 지향하고 있었으며 강의를 수강신청한 에너지･인프라융합학과 소속 이공계 대학원생 맞춤형으로 진행되었다. 교수자는 학습자 관점의 교육을 진행하고자 하였고 학습과정이 단행본이라는 의미있는 결과를 만들게 되면서 학생들에게 인상적인 학습 경험의 기억을 제공함과 동시에 자신감을 고양하였다. 이와 함께 참여 학생들의 강의에 대한 의견을 통일인식제고 효과 측면에서 살펴보면 전반적으로 한 학기 수업을 통하여 통일문제에 관심을 가지게 되었고 일부 학생들은 본인 전공분야와 연결시켜 실질적인 문제해결의 단계까지 생각을 시도하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 내용은 학생들의 통일인식을 제고하는 경험 향상과 교육의 질적 혁신을 제고하기 위한 시사점을 제공하고 통일교육 현장에 새로운 화두를 던질 수 있을 것으로 예상한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the lecture case titled 'Inter-Korean Relations and International Development Cooperation,' an innovative course offered in the first semester of 2021 at Kangwon National University's Department of Integrated Energy and Infra System, from a User Experience(UX) design perspective. This lecture is very unusual compared to the general situation in that this lecture was made for graduate students majoring in science and engineering, not for the humanities and social sciences area. The course achieved interesting results even though it was the first try, such as book publication with all the participating students as authors. Thus, taking a closer look at how the course was designed and operated through a case study would be a meaningful attempt. According to the findings, this lecture was oriented toward concepts that are important from a Learning Facilitation perspective and was customized for graduate students in the Department of Integrated Energy and Infra System. The lecture wanted to boost achievement from the learner's point of view. As the learning process produced a meaningful result in the form of a book, it provided the students with fond memories through the learning experience and promoted self-confidence. In addition, looking at the opinions of the participating students about the lecture in terms of the effectiveness of raising unification awareness, overall, students became interested in the unification issue through the semester-long lecture, and some of them tried to connect the topic of the lecture with their major fields of study and think about it to the stage of practical problem-solving. These findings are expected to provide implications for designing the students' experience of enhancing unification awareness in innovative ways, including in the quality of education, and also to suggest a new theme in the field of unification education.
