국내 창업실패 연구에 관한 논문 동향 분석 및 향후 연구과제

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 창업 실패 연구 분야에 게재된 논문 총 30편을 대상으로 연구 동향을 분석하고 향후 연구 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 창업 실패 연구 들을 시간적 흐름에 따라 연구 방법, 연구주제로 분류하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 창업실패 관련 연구의 동향분석을 통해 창업실패에 관한 연구의 흐름과 특성을 파악하고 향후 연구과제를 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 기반으로 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 시기를 살펴보면 2004년~2019년까지 창업 실패에 관한 연구가 진행됐고, 2020년 이후에는 총 13편의 논문이 게재되었다. 주목할 만한 부분은 2019년 이전의 연구들은 창업심리, 실패 요인분석, 실패 경험과 관련 연구가 주를 이루었고 2020년 이후부터 재창업에 관한 연구가 진행되었다. 둘째, 연구 방법에 따른 분석 결과 창업 실패 관련 연구는 다양한 방법으로 진행되고 있으나 비교적 양적 연구가 대다수인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 세부 연구주제는 창업심리·창업실패원인·실패 경험·창업환경·재창업 등 총 5개로 분류되었다. 본 연구 결과를 기반으로 창업실패 및 재창업에 대한 추가적 연구, 보다 다각적인 방법론적 접근, 국제 비교연구를 통한 국내 창업실패의 특성화된 대책과 방안 도출, 창업실패에 대한 사회적 인식 변화 연구 등의 연구방향과 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze research trends and present future research directions for a total of 30 papers published in the field of domestic start-up failure research. To this end, studies on start-up failure were classified into research methods and research topics over time. The purpose of this study was to understand the flow and characteristics of the study and to discuss follow-up research tasks to minimize domestic start-up failures. The results derived based on this are as follows. First, looking at the research period, research on start-up failures was conducted from 2004 to 2019, and a total of 13 papers were published after 2020. It is noteworthy that studies before 2019 mainly focused on start-up psychology, failure factor analysis, failure experience, and related studies, and studies on re-starting have been conducted since 2020. Second, as a result of analysis according to the research method, research related to start-up failure is being conducted in various ways, but relatively quantitative research is the majority. Third, detailed research topics were classified into five categories: start-up psychology, failure factor analysis, failure experience, start-up environment, and re-starting. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to conduct research on the common factors of start-up failure and the importance of start-up failure factors, and future research will help start-ups and entrepreneur policymakers prepare strategies to prevent and respond to start-up failure.
