국문 초록

이 연구는 한국 TV드라마의 변천 과정 중 특히 아침드라마의 형성 과정과 역사적 흐름의 변화를 살펴보고, 미디어 환경과 방송환경 변화에 따른 영향과 특징에 대해 살펴보았다. 아침드라마는 한국 근현대 생활사의 생생한기록물로, 다른 일일드라마와 마찬가지로 사적인 서사 관계를 통해 매일매일 실현되는 것들로 구성되며, 출생과 죽음, 로맨스, 결혼과 이혼 등 가족과 관련한 중요한 의식과 사생활의 사건 재현을 통해 발전하였다. 그러나 2021 년 10월을 끝으로 한국 사회에서 아침드라마가 사라졌다. 그 이유로는 첫째, 2010년대 중후반부터 경제적 부담으로 인한 수익 약화와 콘텐츠 보급의 시청률 저조, 둘째, 아침드라마의 수익률 저조로 인한 제작 부담과 셋째, 막장드라마의 비상식적 전개에 대한 시청자들의 식상함과 TV 시청 플랫폼의 환경변화로 인한 경쟁력 부재에 있다. K-드라마는 한국 사회와 문화에 대한 친근감과 호감을 느끼게 하는 상징적인 수단이며, 이는 초국적 문화유통 현상에대한 더욱 맥락적인 분석과 중층적인 사유로 나아가길 고대하는 계기가 된다.

영문 초록

This study examined the formation process and historical trends of Korean television dramas, particularly morning dramas, and explored the impact and characteristics of changes in the media and broadcasting environment. Soap opera, similar to other daily dramas, serve as a vivid documentation of modern Korean life. These dramas are composed of everyday events that are realized through personal narrative relationships. They have evolved through the reenactment of significant family-related rituals and private events, such as birth, death, romance, marriage, and divorce. However, by the end of October 2021, Soap opera had disappeared from Korean society. The reasons for this are: First, weakening revenue and low ratings for content distribution due to economic burdens from the mid-2010s; Second, production burden due to low profitability of Soap opera;; and Third, viewers' boredom and TV viewing platform for the unreasonable development of last-minute dramas. lack of competitiveness due to environmental changes. K-drama is a symbolic means to feel familiarity and liking for Korean society and culture, and this serves as an opportunity to look forward to a more contextual analysis and multi-layered thinking on the phenomenon of transnational cultural distribution.
