국문 초록

우리는 이 연구 결과를 토대로 어린 시절 정신적 외상의 경험, 즉 학대, 방임의 경험이 알코올환자가 이 중독 질환을 앓게 되는데 기여하는 바가 있다고 결론 내릴 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives：The purpose of this study is to compare the experience of childhood maltreatment between male alcoholics and normal controls. Methods：We investigated Childhood trauma scale and Beck depression inventory from 39 male alcoholics who were admitted in addiction-psychiatric ward and 35 normal male subjects. Results：Significant group differences in childhood trauma scale scores between male alcoholics and normal subjects were found. Scores of Beck depression inventory were also significantly different between the two groups. Conclusion：The male alcoholics have more traumatic experiences in their childhood than normal subjects.
