성인 사이버폭력 피해-가해 중첩에 대한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 성인들의 사이버폭력에서 피해-가해 중첩 현상을 예방하기 위한 연구이다. 코로나19로 인해 현대사회는 비대면 생활이 확장되고 코로나19 이전보다 사이버 공간을 이용하는 비중이 증가하였다. 따라서 사이버공간에서 발생하고 있는 사이버폭력의 문제가 과거보다 더욱 심각하게 나타나고 있다. 기존 많은 연구들은 사이버폭력을 예방하기 위해 청소년을 대상으로 대다수의 연구가 진행되었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 성인들 역시 심각한 사이버폭력을 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한국지능정보사회원에서 발표한 「2021 사이버폭력 실태조사 결과보고서」에 따르면, 성인들의 15.7%가 사이버폭력을 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사이버폭력의 경우 사이버공간의 그 특징으로 인해 피해-가해 중첩 현상이 많이 발생한다. 따라서 성인들의 사이버폭력 피해경험이 사이버폭력 가해에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석할 필요성이 있다. 또한 많은 선행연구에서 사이버폭력에 대한 문제의식과 교육의 효과성 인식이 성인 사이버폭력 가해를 예방하는 주요 요인들로 설명되고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 성인들의 사이버폭력 피해-가해 중첩현상에서 사이버폭력 문제의식과 교육의 효과성 인식이 사이버폭력 피해-가해 중첩에 대한 완충제 역할을 할 수 있는지를 검증하였다. 연구는 한국지능정보사회진흥원에서 수행한 「2021 사이버폭력 실태조사 결과보고서」의 성인 데이터를 활용하였다. 연구목적을 수행하기 위한 최종분석은 SPSS Macro PROCESS 3.5 프로그램의 PROCESS macro model 2번을 활용하여 다중가산 조절모형을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 성인의 사이버폭력 피해는 사이버폭력 가해를 예측하는 요인으로 파악되었으며, 이 두 관계에서 사이버폭력 문제의식과 교육의 효과성 인식이 다중가산조절효과를 보이는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 성인 사이버폭력 피해-가해 중첩현상을 예방하는 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study is aimed at preventing the damage-injury overlapping phenomenon in adults' cyberbullying. Due to COVID-19, non-face-to-face life has expanded in modern society and the proportion of using cyberspace has increased compared to before COVID-19. Therefore, the problem of cyberbullying occurring in cyberspace is appearing more seriously than in the past. Most of the existing studies have been conducted on teenagers to prevent cyberbullying. Nonetheless, adults have also been found to experience serious cyberbullying. According to the 2021 cyberbullying fact-finding report published by the Korea Intelligence Information Society Agency, 15.7% of adults have experienced cyberbullying. In addition, in the case of cyber violence, due to the characteristics of cyber space, there is a lot of damage-injury overlapping phenomenon. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze how adults' experiences of cyberbullying affect cyberbullying. In addition, in many previous studies, awareness of the problem of cyberbullying and awareness of the effectiveness of education are explained as major factors in preventing adult cyberbullying. Therefore, in this study, it was verified whether awareness of the cyberbullying problem and awareness of the effectiveness of education in the overlapping phenomenon of cyberbullying damage-offender among adults can act as a buffer against the overlapping cyberbullying damage-offender. The study utilized adult data from the 「2021 Cyberviolence Survey Result Report」 conducted by the Korea Institute for Intelligence and Information Society Promotion. For the final analysis to carry out the purpose of the study, the multi-additive control model was analyzed using PROCESS macro model No. 2 of the SPSS Macro PROCESS 3.5 program. As a result of the study, cyberbullying damage of adults was identified as a predictor of cyberbullying perpetration, and it was confirmed that in these two relationships, cyberbullying problem awareness and awareness of the effectiveness of education showed a multi-additative moderating effect. Based on these results, a plan to prevent adult cyberbullying damage-offender overlapping was proposed.
