국문 초록

이 연구는 유튜브 채널 <자이언트 펭TV>의 제목 유형과 그 효과를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. <펭TV>는 EBS의 어린이 교양 예능 프로그램으로 펭수라는 캐릭터 자체와 TV와 모바일, 오프라인과 온라인을 넘나든다는 점에서 변별성을 갖는다. 이 연구는 <펭TV>가 방송과 유튜브 채널을 병행하여 향유할 수 있다는 점에 주목하고 제목이 향유자의 선택에 중요한 역할을 할 것이라 전제하였다. <펭TV>의 제목 유형을 분석하기 위해 제목 기능을 논의한 선행 연구를 검토하고 제목의 특징을 파악하였다. 그리고 <펭TV> 2021년 업로드된 정규 에피소드 50개의 제목을 방송 제목과 비교하여 특성을 명확하게 파악하고자 하였다. 그 결과 출연자 강조, 상황 진술, 내용 요약으로 유형화할 수 있었다. 출연자 강조와 내용 요약의 제목은 콘텐츠 기초 정보를 전달하는 데 효과적이다. 전략적인 요약을 활용한 제목은 향유자의 콘텐츠 향유를 유지하고 지속하는 데 효과적으로 에피소드의 중심 사건을 반대 결과로 나타내거나 주요 사건을 왜곡시키거나 단순 상황만을 묘사하는 등의 방법을 취한다. 그리고 출연자들의 심리 상태를 반영한 진술 형태의 제목은 향유자와의 공감대를 형성하여 콘텐츠 향유 몰입도를 높이는 데 효과적이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find out the title type and effect of the YouTube channel . is a children's cultural entertainment program of EBS. The distinctiveness of this program can be found in the Pengsoo character. Another is that it crosses TV and mobile, offline and online. This study paid attention to the fact that can enjoy broadcasting and YouTube channels simultaneously. And it was premised that the title would play an important role in the choice of the enjoyer. In order to analyze the title type of , previous studies that discussed the title function were reviewed. Based on this, the characteristics of the title were identified. In addition, the titles of 50 regular episodes of uploaded in 2021 were compared with the broadcast titles to clearly understand the characteristics. As a result, it could be categorized into highlighting the cast, stating the situation, and summarizing the contents. The title of the cast emphasis and content summary is effective in conveying the basic information of the content. In order to maintain and continue the enjoyment of content, a title that strategically summarizes the central event of an episode is effective. Strategic methods include explaining opposite outcomes, distorting key events, and describing simple situations. The title reflecting the psychological state of the performers forms a bond of sympathy with the audience. Therefore, it is effective in increasing the immersion in content enjoyment.
