가정과 연계한 유아 환경교육 프로그램 구성과 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 가정과 연계한 유아 환경교육 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 연구자는 6단계 절차에 따라 가정과 연계한 유아 환경교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 그 효과를 광주광역시의 S 어린이집 만 5세 두 학급 38명(실험집단 19명, 비교집단 19명)과 부모를 대상으로 살펴보았다. 실험집단은 가정과 연계한 유아 환경교육 프로그램에, 비교집단은 누리과정에 따른 일상 활동에 참여하였다. 실험 처치는 2021년 10월 18일부터 12월 24일까지 10주 동안 부모 대상 교육 10차시와 유아 대상 교육 20차시로 진행되었다. 연구결과, 가정과 연계한 유아 환경교육 프로그램은 유아와 부모의 환경 감수성과 환경보전 태도 향상을 도모하는 교육내용과 교수-학습 방법, 평가 등으로 구성되었다. 또한 본 프로그램을 통해 유아와 부모의 환경 감수성과 환경보전 태도가 유의하게 향상한 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 가정과 연계한 유아 환경교육 프로그램은 유아와 부모의 환경 감수성과 환경보전 태도를 향상하는 데 효과적이다. 이처럼 본 연구는 가정과 연계한 유아 환경교육 프로그램의 교육적 효과를 보여줌으로써 유아 환경교육의 새로운 모형을 제시하는 데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a young children’s environmental education program connecting to family and to investigate its effects. Researchers developed a young children’s environmental education program connecting to family according to 6-step process. The effects of the program were observed from thirty eight 5-year-old children (nineteen in experimental group, nineteen in comparative group) and their parents of S preschool in Gwangju metropolitan city. Experimental group participated in the young children’s environmental education program connecting. to family, and comparative group in daily activities according to the Nuri curriculum. The experiments were conducted ten times targeting to parents and twenty times targeting to children for ten weeks from the eighteenth of October to twenty-fourth of December in 2021. The results of this study were as follows. The young children’s environmental education program connecting to family was consisted of educational contents, teaching-learning methods, and evaluation to promote the environmental sensitivity and environmental preservation attitudes of children and parents. Also, the environmental sensitivity and environmental preservation attitudes of children and parents were increased meaningfully through the program. That is to say, the young children’s environmental education program connecting to family was effective to increase the environmental sensitivity and environmental preservation attitudes of children and parents. As a result, it is significant that this study suggests new model of a young children’s environmental education by showing the educational effects of the young children’s environmental education program connecting to family.
