청년층의 취업준비 실태와 취업역량 강화에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 MZ세대의 취업에 대한 의식 변화와 취업률 하략에 대응하기 위하여 기술특화 전문대학인 P대학 재학생의 취업준비 현황과 요구를 파악하고, 취업역량을 강화하고 고용가능성을 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 본격적으로 취업을 준비하기 시작하는 2학년 재학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 재학생들은 주로 취업을 위해 학점관리와 자격증 취득에 집중하고 있었다. 둘째, 주된 취업준비행동으로 취업정보 탐색과 이력서 및 자기소개서 준비를 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 취업정보 획득방법으로는 취업포털사이트를 확인하는 것이 대부분이었으며, 지인 및 선후배를 통한 정보획득 등 개인적 차원에서의 채용정보 취득을 주로 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 보다 적극적인 취업 지원을 위해서는 대학 내 취업진로 관련 교과의 로드맵 제시가 필요하고, 재학생에게 변화하는 채용트렌드를 안내하는 한편 스스로 취업기업 및 직무를 설정하여 준비하는 전략을 세울 수 있도록 도울 필요가 있다는 점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the employment preparation status and needs of students in order to respond to the change in the MZ generation's perception of employment and the decline in the employment rate, and to increase the employability. To this end, a survey was conducted targeting students who are starting to prepare for employment in earnest, and the main research results are as follows. First, enrolled students were mainly focusing on credit management and certificate acquisition for employment. Second, it was found that the main job preparation behaviors were searching for job information and preparing resumes and selfintroduction letters. Finally, as a method of obtaining employment information, most of them checked employment portal sites, and most of them obtained employment information at the personal level, such as acquiring information through acquaintances and seniors and juniors. Based on these results, it is necessary to establish a roadmap for career-related courses in universities for more active employment support. In addition, it was suggested that it is necessary to present changing recruitment trends to current students and help them set up strategies to prepare themselves by setting up companies and jobs for employment.
