코로나19 대유행 중 간호대학생의 스트레스와 불안이 우울에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 코로나19 대유행 중 간호대학생의 스트레스, 불안과 우울 간의 관련성을 파악하고, 우울에 미치는 영향요인을 규명하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구대상은 J시에 소재한 일개 대학의 간호대학생 445명이었다. 자료는 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 수집하였고, SPSS/WIN 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 서술적 통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient와 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 간호대학생의 스트레스와 우울은 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었고(r=.616, p<.001). 불안도 우울과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다(r=.470, p<.001). 우울 영향 요인을 확인하기 위한 회귀모형은 유의하게 나타났다(F=35.507, p<.001). 대상자의 우울에 가장 영향을 미치는 요인은 스트레스(β=.470, P<.001), 불안(β=.201, P<.001), 대학 생활 만족(β=.141, P=.003), 흡연(β=.140, P<.001), 전공 만족(β=-.090, P=037)이 유의한 예측 요인으로 나타났고 이들 변수의 설명력은 46.1%이었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생의 스트레스에 대처하여 극복하는 방법과 불안을 줄이기 위한 다양한 프로그램 개발을 통해 우울을 감소하여 정신 건강을 증진할 수 있는 적극적인 노력이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among stress, anxiety, and depression in nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic and to identify the factors affecting depression. Study subjects were 445 nursing students from a college located in J city. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS/WIN 23.0 by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between stress and depression in nursing college students(r=.616, p<.001), and between anxiety and depression(r=.470, p<.001). The regression model to identify factors affecting depression was significant(F=35.507, p<.001). The factors most influencing the subject’s depression were stress(ß=.470, p<.001), anxiety(ß=.201, p<.001), satisfaction with college life(ß=.141, p=003), smoking(ß=.140, p<.001), satisfaction with Major(ß=-.090, p=.037). There were found to be significant predictors of these variables and had an explanatory power of 46.1%. Based on these study results, it is necessary to actively strive to improve nursing students’ mental health and find ways to cope with and overcome their stress by developing various programs to reduce depression and anxiety.
