정보보호 스타트업 육성 고도화 방안 연구

국문 초록

4차 산업혁명시대 속 산업의 전 분야에서 IT인프라와 정보 접근성이 강조되고, IoT기술의 발달로 초연결, 클라우드 기반의 사회가 도래함에 따라 정보보호의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 또한 코로나 팬데믹이후 언택트 환경의 확대와 디지털 트랜스포메이션의 가속화로 인해 정보보호에 대한 관심과 그 중요성이 더욱 커지고 있다. 하지만 여타 주요 선진국 대비 정보보호산업에 대한 우리 정부의 지원은 미흡한 상황이며, 그에 따라 정보보호산업 생태계의 규모 및 기술경쟁력 또한 뒤처지는 것이 사실이다. 이에 본 연구는 정보보호산업 전문가 및 글로벌 창업생태계 전문가를 대상으로 한 심층 인터뷰를 통해 국내 정보보호 스타트업 육성을 위한 정부지원사업 개선방안 및 글로벌 진출 지원방안을 모색하고자 한다. 연구 결과, ‘젊은 창업가들이 정보보호 분야 창업에 도전할 수 있는 문화와 환경 조성’, ‘공정하고 투명한 경쟁을 통한 유망기업 발굴 및 집중 투자’, ‘지역 및 대학과 연계된 사업 및 프로그램 개발’, ‘글로벌 진출 지원 액셀러레이터와 인큐베이터의 지원 확대 및 고도화’, ‘국내 대기업 및 빅테크와 오픈이노베이션 활동 및 지원 구축’등이 도출되었다.

영문 초록

In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, IT infrastructure and information accessibility are emphasized in all areas of the industry, and the importance of information protection is being highlighted as a hyper-connected and cloud-based society arrives with the development of IoT technology. In addition, interest in information protection and its importance are growing due to the expansion of the untact environment and the acceleration of digital transformation after the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the government's support for the information protection industry is insufficient compared to other major developed countries, and accordingly, the size and technological competitiveness of the information protection industry ecosystem are also lagging. The purpose of this study is to explore ways to improve government support projects and support global advancement through in-depth interviews with information protection industry experts and global entrepreneurial ecosystem experts. As a result of the study, ‘Creating a culture and environment for young entrepreneurs to challenge the information protection industry’, ‘Discovering and investing in promising companies through fair and transparent competition’, ‘Developing projects and programs linked to regions and universities’, ‘Expanding and upgrading support from accelerators and incubators supporting global advancement’, and ‘Establishment of open innovation activities and support with domestic conglomerates and big tech’ were derived.
