국문 초록

학교 수학에서 통계적 확률을 보다 의미 있게 지도하기 위한 방안으로 다수의 선행 연구들은 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통한 귀납적인 조작 활동을 들고 있다. 이 연구에서는 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 통계적 확률이 지도될 때 그 지식의 성격이 어떻게 변화될 수 있는지를 그 구체적인 수업 안을 제시하고 있는 선행 연구 결과를 검토함으로써 살펴보았다. 또한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용한 통계적 확률 지도가 의미 있기 위해서는 현재 교육과정에 수학적 확률이 정의될 수 없는 사건에 대해 통계적 확률을 고려해 보는 확률적 상황의 첨가가 필요함을 제안하였다. 이러한 사실을 토대로 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용하여 통계적 확률을 지도하는 방안을 구체적인 수업 자료를 예로 들어 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The concept of probability in current school mathematics has been dealt with in the classic viewpoint (mathematical pro- bability) and part of the frequency viewpoint and axiomatic viewpoint have been intro- duced. However, since the exact under- standing of the probability concepts is not possible only with the classic viewpoint, we need to research further on methods to complement classic viewpoint and emphasize various aspects of probability concepts(Lee, Kyung Hwa, 1996). Therefore, this study is to find out optimal computer simulation plans in teaching statistical probability. For the purpose, it examines how the nature of mathematical knowledge may be changed when statistical probability is taught with a use of computer simulation based on the Theory of Didactical Situation presented by Brousseau(1997). Next, it identifies how pro- bability curriculum should be reconstituted for introducing statistical probability through computer simulation. Finally, it develops specific teaching materials that introduce statistical probability using computer simulation based on the results obtained.
