국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구는 장애인 교원의 교직발달 과정을 분석하기 위하여 질적연구 방법으로 수행되었다. 연구방법: 장애인 교원의 교직발달 과정을 분석하기 위하여 질적연구 방법으로 수행되었다. 연구방법: 수집한 자료는 Giorgi와 Morley(2017)가 제안한 현상학적 연구방법에 기초하여 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 장애인 교원은 임용고시 준비 및 응시과정에서 지원의 한계점으로 여러 어려움을 겪었으나, 장애인 교원의 의지와 노력, 그리고 주위 사람의 도움으로 극복할 수 있었다. 둘째, 장애인 교원은 교사로서의 전문성 신장과 교직발달을 이루기 위하여 다방면으로 노력하고 있었다. 셋째, 많은 장애인 교원은 승진을 고려하지 않았으나, 장애학생에게 꿈과 가능성을 심어주고자 승진을 고려 중인 장애인 교원도 있었다. 결론: 장애인 교원은 교직생활에서 여러 어려움과 난관에 봉착하기도 하지만, 교직발달을 이루어가기 위하여 주어진 환경 속에서 최선을 다하고 있음을 이 연구를 통하여 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study was conducted to analyze the teaching development process of teachers with disabilities before and after entering the teaching profession. Method: The interview data were analyzed was analyzed based on the phenomenological research method proposed by Giorgi and Morley (2017). Results: First, when teachers with disabilities were in the process of preparing and applying for the teacher certification examination, various difficulties were encountered due to the limitations of application. However, they were able to overcome with their will and effort and the support from people around them. Second, teachers with disabilities were making various efforts to improve their professionalism as teachers and achieve development in their teaching abilities Third, many teachers with disabilities did not consider promotion, but some were considering promotion to instill dreams and possibilities in students with disabilities. Conclusion: Through this study, it was confirmed that teachers with disabilities face various difficulties and challenges in their teaching career, but they do their best in a given environment to achieve development in their teaching abilities
