영문 초록

The objective of this paper is to study Chinese poems written by Suk-ju, Yee Sang-yong, who spent his life to get restoration of national sovereignty. I looked in to his life and examined the relationship between his work and a historical background. As a result, I found that his poems had been affected widely by his life and a special historical event. This means that his works had been connected to what textual linguistics say, “Situationality” and were fused by social and personal situation greatly. In other words, the life of writer who produce the work and the background of work are projected in a poem.I divided Suk-ju, Yee Sang-yong' works into two groups: writer's early works and works after the Samil[1919] Independence Movement of Korea. Believing that it is difficult to achieve the restoration of national sovereignty through domestic movement, Suk-ju moved Manchuria adjacent to Korea in 1911. In Manchuria, Suk-ju devoted himself to gain the restoration of national sovereignty until 1932, the year he died. By the way, the most interesting thing is that poems he wrote contained the phases of this times and Suk-ju's record of life.
