국문 초록

본 글의 목적은 니체 철학에서 춤의 은유가 비극적 사유의 회복을 함의하고 있음을 밝히고, 이를 통해 철학적 치유의 가능성을 타진해 보는 데 있다. 비극적 사유는 니체의 초기 사유에서뿐만 아니라 그의 후기 사유까지 지속 및 확장되는 개념이다. 비극적 사유는 『비극의 탄생』의 예술가-형이상학이 『즐거운 학문』의 예술생리학으로 변모하는 전 과정에서, 이성을 포함한 삶에 대한 총체적 긍정이 자 디오니소스적 긍정이라는 니체 철학 전체 기조를 이루는 핵심 사유이다. 비 극적 사유를 상징하는 춤은 디오니소스적 격정과 더불어 아폴론적 가상의 적절 한 개입을 요청하는 것으로, 어느 한쪽의 독단이 아닌 전체를 긍정하며 창조적 긴장과 조화를 이루는 행위로 드러난다. 니체 철학에서 춤은 디오니소스적 긍정 의 일환이자 한쪽에 치우치지 않는 유연한 사고 주체로 기능하는 사유 양식의 상징이다. 이는 고통까지 삶의 자극제로 삼는 인식과 가치의 전환을 포함한다. 따라서, 춤의 은유는 다양한 관점을 자기 삶의 고양에 활용하는 실천적 행위로 이어지며 이로써 철학적 자기 치유의 가능성을 내포한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to reveal that the metaphor of dance in Nietzsche’s philosophy implies the recovery of tragic thought, and to explore the possibility of philosophical healing through this. Tragic thought is a concept that persists and extends not only from the early Nietzsche’s thought but also to his last thoughts. Tragic thought is the core of Nietzsche’s thought that forms the overall basis of Nietzsche’s philosophy - full affirmation and Dionysian affirmation of life including reason. This is well indicated in The Birth of Tragedy which has the character of artist-metaphysics as well as in the process of transforming to Physiology of Art in The Gay Science. The dance symbolizing the tragic thought asks for the appropriate intervention of Apollonian virtuality along with Dionysian passion, which is revealed as an act that affirms the whole, not one side’s dogma, and harmonizes with creative tension. In Nietzsche’s philosophy, dance is a symbol of thinking that functions as a flexible thinking subject that is not biased toward one side and is part of Dionysian affirmation. This connotes a shift in perception and value that even uses pain as a stimulant in life. Therefore, dance leads to practical actions that utilize various perspectives to enhance one’s life, thereby implying the possibility of philosophical self-healing.
