루쉰의 고향 공간에 대한 小考

국문 초록

본 논문 루쉰의 소설 「고향」에 나타난 고향 공간을 『외침』의 내적 서사와 관련지어 고찰한 것이다. 「고향」의 고향 공간은 고향을 상징하는 서정적 공간, 또는 계몽적 인식과 대립하는 후진적 고향으로 해석됐으며, 룬투는 자아와 고향의 관계 또는 낙후된 농민 현실을 상징하는 인물로 고찰됐다. 본 논문은 기존의 해석을 보다 확장하여, 「고향」에 나타나는 고향 공간을 동년의 ‘나’와 룬투가 함께 형성했던 신비감이 가득한 행복한 유년 시기 꿈의 공간, 적막과 쓸쓸함이 꿈을 집어삼킨 현실 공간, 그리고, 이 현실을 극복하고 후속 세대를 위한 “나의 길”에 대한 자각 통해서 새롭게 확장된 희망 공간의 세 가지로 구분하고, 이들의 상호 관계가 『외침』에 서술된 꿈과 적막, 그리고 희망이라는 자전적 서사와 관련이 있음을 고찰하였다. 또한, 룬투를 고향 공간에 꿈을 형성하고, 다시 적막에 의해 파괴되고, 마지막에는 희망으로 승화되는 고향의 세 공간을 관통하는 존재로서 파악하였다.

영문 초록

This paper is studying the Lu Xun's novels hometown objects and space. Lu Xin brought the objects and spaces of his hometown to his literary work, and conducted literary shapes. In this process, his dreams have been included in the hometown. The hometown described in “Hometown” has three spaces. The first hometown space is the space where dreams are conceived, and this space is a space that forms one with the things of the hometown. It is a space of happy dreams filled with a sense of mystery that ‘I’ and Runtu of the same year formed together. The second hometown is a space that opposes life and destroys dreams, and the first hometown is a space full of sadness and silence, with dreams shattered under the pressure of time and space. And, the third space is a space where the first space is reborn after breaking through the pressure of the second space. In “Hometown”, the dream hometown is broken and rotted, and based on this nourishment, it is a newly expanded space through “My Way”. This space is a wider altruistic space for the next generation, and a space of hope against a space of silence. This is a failed dream that has grown into a new dream again, and it is fulfilling the significance of the ‘Cry’ to overcome the silence.
