中国经典翻译的韵律音系学研究体系: 以蒙学典籍翻译为例

국문 초록

중국 문화는 깊고도 심오하다. 중국 전통문화의 중요한 부분인 고전경전은 시적인 특징으로 오늘날까지 전송되고 있으며 오늘날 ‘중국문화가 세계로 나아가는’ 중요한 매개체이기도 하다. <삼자경>、<백가성>、<천자문>、<천가시>、<천자문>、<제자규> 등 몽학전적(蒙学典籍)은 중국 문화의 독특한 지혜와 언어적 매력을 담고 있으며 대대로 전해지고 있다. 이처럼 몽학전적(蒙学典籍)의 구절구절들이 쉽게 읊조리는 원인은 엄격하면서도 규범화된 운율과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 줄곧 운율음운학 연구에 전념해온 강소대학교 번역 연구 센터 임효비 교수 연구팀은 운율음운론과Interphonic、Praat등 말뭉치를 적용하여 음장, 음고, 말단음, 꼬리음 등 4개 운율 요소 측면에서 운율 형태와 정서 관련 번역규범을 탐구하여 중국 고전 번역의 운율음운학(韵律音系学) 연구체계를 구축했다. 이는 중국 고전 번역 연구와 중국 문화의 해외전파에 중요한 의미를 지닌다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The Chinese culture is known as a broad and profound culture with long hisroty.The Chinese classics, as an important element of excellent traditional culture, have been passing down from generation to generation with their poetic style. They are also an important vehicle for promoting “Chinese culture going abroad” in the new era. Among them, primer classicssuch as San Zi Jing, Bai Jia Xing, Qian Zi Wen, Qian Jia Shi, Di ZiGui, etc. pass on the unique wisdom and language charm of the Chinese culture in the past thousands of years. The fact that the texts are catchy and easy to recite is inseparable from their strict and standardized rhythmic tradition. In recent years, the team led by Professor Ren Xiaofei in the Corpus-based Translation Teaching and Research Center, Jiangsu University has devoted to the prosodic phonological study on the translation of Chinese Classics, including Chinese Primer Classics. They take the advantage of the theoretical framework and methodology of prosodic phonology to elaborate the translation norm of the Chinese rhythmic tradition by using Interphonic and Praat. This is a overall report about their seires of studies on the Englsih translation of Chinese Primer Classics. It is emphasized that the reproduction of the sound effet of the Chinese Classics is of great significance to protect and disseminate the cultural heritage of human beings.
