Purpose - The core of this study is to establish scientific and standard evaluation standards, establish a scientific evaluation system and give full play to the feedback, motivation, and guidance function of education evaluation.
Design/Methodology/Approach - Evaluating innovative ability is a complex decision-making problem that adopts improved AHP. The multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to verify the consistency between the students’ scores of innovation ability and the teachers’ subjective evaluation.
Findings - The index of the evaluation system of the innovation ability of innovation education middle school students is determined. The multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate students’ innovative abilities according to the evaluation system.
Research Implications - The conclusion of this study can be used as a reference for improving students’ innovation ability in innovation education, i. e. it can cultivate students’ innovation ability and optimize innovation education. Constructing the evaluation index system of the innovation ability of middle school students in innovation education can evaluate the students’ innovation ability in the innovation process.
