방문교육서비스를 경험한 결혼이주여성의 정체성 변화에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 방문교육서비스를 경험한 결혼이주여성이 방문교육지도사와 상호작용을 통해 상호문화소통을 이루며 정체성을 형성하는 경험과 의미를 탐색하는 목적으로 질적 사례연구를 실시하였다. 연구목적을 위해 방문교육서비스를 경험한 결혼이주여성 5명을 1인 2회씩 총 10회 심층 면담을 하여 자료를 수집하고 중심 주제 분석을 통해 ‘정체성 갈등’, ‘정체성 안정’, ‘정체성 확장’으로범주화하였다. 연구 결과는 ‘존재감 없는 이방인’, ‘불평등한 지원의 대상’, ‘언어와 문화로 스며듦’, ‘동등한 관계 맺음’, ‘새로운 나로서의 삶’, ‘베풂 실천의 사회구성원’으로 도출하였다. 결혼이주여성들은 방문교육서비스 경험을 통해 모국과 이주국의 문화와 언어가 뒤섞이고 겹치는 과정에서 다양한 정체성을 형성하며 다문화 사회의 평등한 구성원으로 자리매김하였다. 후속 연구로 결혼이주여성이 주체적 실천 역량을 발휘하며 정체성을 확장해 나가도록 이들의 관점과 요구를 반영한 심리･ 정서 및 교육 프로그램 지원을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study is to explore the experience and meaning of identity formation through the Intercultural communication of married migrant women experiencing visiting educational services(VES). For the purpose of research, interviews were conducted with 5 married immigrant women participating in VES, data were collected, and classified through subject analysis. The study results are ‘strangers without a sense of existence’, ‘objects of unequal support’, ‘touch each other with language and culture’, ‘establishing equal relationships’, ‘my new life’, and ‘practicing a life of sharing’. They experienced mixing cultures and languages in VES and forming independent identities. They played the role of equal members of a multicultural society with independent identities. As a follow-up study, it proposed support for psychological, emotional, and educational programs that reflect their perspectives and needs so that marriage migrant women can demonstrate their independent practical abilities and expand their identity.
