소년수형자를 위한 복지프로그램 개발 기초 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 소년수형자들의 개인적․환경적 특성을 파악하여 재범을 방지하고사회복귀와 재적응을 위한 복지프로그램 개발을 목적으로 실시되었다. 본 연구를위한 자료수집은 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 김천교도소에 수용 중인 청소년53명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, SPSS 19.0 통계프로그램으로 분석하였다. 조사결과, 소년수 대부분이 수감원인을 ‘자신의 잘못’으로 인식하고 있었으며, 이들의삶의 목표는 ‘행복한 가정을 꾸리는 것’에 대한 것이 많았다. 자신에게 긍정적인영향을 미친 사람은 ‘부모님’이 가장 많았고, 부정적인 영향을 미친 사람은 ‘친구’ 가 가장 많았다. 살면서 가장 기뻤던 순간은 ‘인정받았을 때’와 ‘가족과 함께 한시간’으로 응답하였으며, 가장 슬펐거나 화가 났던 순간은 ‘구속되었을 때’와 ‘부모의 이혼’ 등 가족과 관련한 일에 많이 힘들어하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은연구결과는 소년수형자들이 건전한 사회인으로 성장하는데 도움을 줄 수 있도록 가족관계향상 및 복지 관련 프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted with the purpose of identifying the individual and environmental characteristics of juvenile prisoners to prevent recommitted conviction and develop a welfare program for the return and adaptation in the society. For the data collection needed for this study, a structural questionnaire was conducted on 53 juvenile prisoners in Gimcheon Boy Correctional Institution, and SPSS 19.0 statistical program was used to conduct the analysis. As a result of conducting the research, most juvenile prisoners recognized the reason for imprisonment as due to their 'own fault,' and their goals in life were mainly focused on creating a happy family. When asked about who caused a positive influence on them, the highest number of the responses were 'parents.' On the other hand, the highest number chose 'friends' as those who caused a negative influence on them. When asked about the happiest moment in their lives, they responded, 'when they were acknowledged' or 'family time' and for the saddest or angriest moment in their life, they answered 'when they were arrested' or family matters such as their parents' divorce and this showed that they struggled the most with family affairs. The research results can be applied as the base data of family relationship improvement and welfare program development that can help the juvenile prisoners to grow into healthy members of the society.
