출소자대상 직업훈련과 심리상담이 직업적응에 미치는 영향 : 직업적 자기효능감, 사회적지지, 자기낙인의 매개효과 검증

국문 초록

법무보호 이념은 형의 집행유예·선고유예 또는 가석방 처분이나 형기의 종료 등으로 교정시설로부터 출소한 자에게 정신적·물질적 원조를 지원함으로써 사회에 적응할 수 있는 자원을 마련토록 하고, 이를 바탕으로 재범의 위험성을 낮추는 것이다. 대부분의 출소자들은 생활 취약계층이고, 출소 후 가족해체를 경험하는 비율이 높다. 이 같은 상황에서 출소 후 활용할 직업기술과 능력이 부족한 경우 생계유지의 어려움으로 자신에게 해를 입히는 극단적 선택이나 재범을 저지르게 된다. 이러한 상황에서 출소자들의 성공적인 사회적응 및 재사회화를 위해서 경제적 안정성과 직업의중요성이 강조되어 왔다. 출소자의 취업과 직업의 중요성이 강조되는 것에 비하여 직업에 미치는 영향요인들을 밝히는 연구는 제한적으로 이루어져 왔다. 국내에서 출소자의 직업과 관련된 연구들은 문헌연구와 질적 연구를 중심으로 수행되어 왔다. 이는 출소자에 대한 접근이 어려운 것도 있지만, 출소자에 대한 사회적 관심의 부족과 지원이 부족하다는점을 들 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 출소자들이 성공적으로 취업하고 직업적응을 할 수 있도록 하는 것이 법무보호의 목적인 재범방지와 사회적응을 원활하게 이룰 수 있을 것이라 기대한다. 이에 취업에 성공하여 책임감을 가지고 직무를 수행하고 타인과 원만하게 교류하여 직업적응을 하는 능력을 갖추는 것을 직업적응으로 정의하고 이에 미치는 영향요인과 그 경로를 밝히고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 출소자의 직업적응에 미치는 인구통계학적변수들과 직업훈련 만족도, 심리상담 만족도, 직업적 자기효능감, 사회적 지지, 자기낙인을 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 살펴보았다. 그 결과 직업훈련 만족도와 심리상담만족도는 직업적응에 유의미한 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 직업적 자기효능감, 사회적 지지, 자기낙인이 투입된 3단계 모형에서 심리상담 만족도의 영향은 감소하고, 직업훈련 만족도의 영향력은 통계적으로 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인구통계학적 변수들과 직업훈련 만족도와 심리상담 만족도가 본 연구의 매개변수인 직업적 자기효능감, 사회적 지지, 자기낙인에 미치는 영향을 다중회귀분석으로 살펴보았다. 그 결과 직업훈련은 자기낙인을 제외한 직업적 자기효능감과 사회적 지지에 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 심리상담의 경우 직업적 자기효능감, 사회적 지지, 자기낙인에 모두 유의미한 영향이 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 최종적으로 직업훈련과 심리상담 만족도가 직업적응에 미치는 영향에서 직업적 자기효능감, 사회적 지지, 자기낙인의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 구체적으로 직업훈련 만족도는 직업적 자기효능감과 사회적 지지를 매개하여 직업적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 자기낙인은 매개효과가 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 심리상담 만족도는 사회적 지지와 자기낙인을 매개하여 직업적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 직업적 자기효능감은 매개효과가 유의미하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 종합적으로 해석하여 출소자의 직업적응을 위한 정책적 제언을제시하였다.

영문 초록

The philosophy of rehabilitation is to provide mental and physical aid to those who have been released from the correctional institution due to probation, suspended sentence, suspension of sentence, parole, or after sentencing. This helps released convicts receive resources to resocialize to society and prevent recidivism. Most of the released convicts are vulnerable to economic conditions and have a high rate of experiencing family dismantling after their release. In such a situation, if they have a lack of skills and abilities to sustain their lives after the release, they would not have a choice but to commit other crimes or harm themselves due to difficulties in maintaining a living. In this situation, the importance of economic stability and occupation for the released convicts has been emphasized for the successful reintegration and resocialization. While emphasizing the importance of employment and occupation for released convicts, there is limited research to identify the factors affecting occupation empirically. In Korea, studies related to the occupation of released convicts had been conducted primarily by literature research and qualitative research. This is because released convicts are restricted to contact, but also there is a lack of social attention and interventions for them. In this study, it is expected that it will be able to achieve the purpose of preventing recidivism and resocialization of the released convicts by helping them to get occupation. In this circumstance, the purpose of this study is to identify the affecting factors and pathways of Job Adaptation in order to achieve job success, fulfilling responsibilities and having the ability to appropriately adjust to work with other people. The results of this study are as follows. First, demographic variables, vocational training satisfaction, psychological counseling satisfaction, occupational self-efficacy, social supports, self-stigma on Job Adaptation of released convicts are examined by hierarchical regression analysis. As a result, satisfaction of vocational training and psychological counseling is found to have a significant effect on Job Adaptation. When the mediating variables, which are occupation self-efficacy, social supports, and self-stigma, are added in the three-step model, however, the influence of psychological counseling satisfaction decreases, and the effect of the vocational training satisfaction was not even statistically significant. Second, the effects of socio-demographic variables, the satisfaction of vocational training and psychological counseling on the occupational self-efficacy, social supports, and self-stigma, which are the mediating variables of this study, are examined by multiple regression analysis. As a result, vocational training satisfaction is found to affect occupational self-efficacy and social supports except self-stigma, and psychological counseling satisfaction had a significant effect on occupational self-efficacy, social supports, and self-stigma. Finally, the effects of the satisfaction of vocational training and psychological counseling on Job Adaptation of the released convicts are verified having mediating effects of occupational self-efficacy, social supports, and self-stigma. To put it specifically, the satisfaction of vocational training affects on Job Adaptation through occupational self-efficacy and social supports, but self-stigma shows that mediating effect is not significant. In addition, the psychological counseling satisfaction affects on Job Adaptation through social supports and self-stigma, but occupational self-efficacy has no significant mediating effect. These results are interpreted synthetically, which suggests political and practical suggestions for Job Adaptation of the released convicts.
