자연현상 중 물결을 형상화한 창작 업스타일 디자인 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 수많은 자연현상 중에서 일렁이는 물결의 모습을 관찰하여 물결의 리듬을 자연스럽고 절제된 곡선이나 자유롭고 변화가 많은 유연한 곡선으로 표현하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 물결의 유기적인 이미지를 바다와 관련된 율동감, 반복적인 리듬감, 점이성, 선의 흐름 등으로 구체화하였다. 작품의 제작과정은 물결의 형태를 고려하여 선과 면을 사용한 업스타일의 다양한 기법을 중심으로 물결이 가진 형태의 움직임을 자유롭게 표현하였다. 헤어 컬러를 사용하지 않아 모발 자체만으로 물결의 이미지를 표현하였으며 시각적으로 안정감의 효과를 더해 주었다. 이러한 과정을 거쳐 다양한 물결의 형태를 가진 창작 업스타일을 제작하였다. 창작 업스타일과 물결을 연결하는 과정에 있어서 물결의 움직임 선을 형상화하여 업스타일의 물결모양을 조형적으로 디자인하였고, 업스타일이 안정적으로 고정되는지 등을 고려하여 제작하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구의 작품을 통한 다양한 시도는 자연에서 느끼고 교감할 수 있는 심리적, 정서적 안정감을 느낄 수 있다. 본 연구에서 나타낸 조형적 형상은 형태의 새로운 시도라고 볼 수 있으며 다양한 연구의 방향을 찾을 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study tried to express the rhythm of the wave as a natural and restrained curve or a free and flexible curve with many changes by observing the wave shape among numerous natural phenomena. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to materialize the organic image of the wave into a sense of rhythm related to the sea, a sense of repetitive rhythm, gradience, and the flow of lines. The production process of the work freely expressed the movement of the shape of the wave, focusing on the roll technique using lines and planes, considering the shape of the wave. As hair color was not used, the image of wave was expressed only with the hair itself, and the effect of visual stability was added. Through this process, creative styles with various wave forms were produced. In the process of connecting the creative up-style and the wave, the wave shape of the up-style was designed in a formative way by shaping the wave movement line, and it was produced in consideration of whether the up-style was stably fixed. In conclusion, various attempts through the works of this study can feel psychological and emotional stability that can be felt and communicated in nature. The formative shape shown in this study can be seen as a new attempt at form, and it is expected that various research directions can be found.
